Kody Brown Opens Up About His Son, Garrison Brown’s, Reported Suicide

Kody Brown, of Sister Wives fame, recently opened up about his son, Garrison Brown’s death. News broke about the 25-year-old’s alleged suicide on Tuesday, March 5. Fans were both devasted and shocked to learn about the young man’s passing and that he took his own life.

Kody shared a message from him and Janelle Brown, Garrison’s mother on Instagram. In the post, he writes, “Janelle and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.

He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. Our loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

The post included two photos of Garrison during his time with the Nevada National Guard, as well as one close-up of the young man with a backpack and a smile on his face. Currently, the comments have been turned off on Kody’s IG post.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Remembering Garrison Brown

Kody and Janelle have six kids together, which include Garrison, Madison, Gabriel, Savanah, Logan, and Hunter.

The last major gathering for the family was David Wooley and Christine Brown’s wedding; however, Kody was obviously not invited to that event.

Still, there was a time when Kody was very close to all his children, but the pandemic created a major wedge between Kody and his relationships with some of his wives and children.

Unfortunately, his bond was quite strained with Garrison, leading up to the young man’s passing.

Garrison was strong-willed and was never one to back down to Kody, rather challenged his father on many occasions.

Flagstaff Police Department’s Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II confirmed in a recent statement that on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, police responded to a death reported inside a home.

It was later confirmed that Gabriel Brown, aged 22, found his brother Garrison dead, in what looked like a suicide.

The police confirmed that there was no indication of foul play, but Criminal Investigations Divisions are still looking into things.
