Kody Brown Accuses His ‘Ex-sister Wives’ Of Betraying Him

For years, Kody Brown has reiterated his stance on separation. According to him, if any of his four wives want to leave him then good, but he won’t be making the decision of sending any away. At the time, he called it the price one has to pay for polygamy. However, now that three have left him behind, he feels somewhat “betrayed.”

The new season of ‘Sister Wives’ will explore Kody and Robyn‘s relationship in the aftermath of Christine, Janelle and Meri jumping ship, as well as how the three former sister wives are moving on after Kody.

So far, Christine has settled down with a new partner and while Meri has dipped her toes in the dating pool, she did come up short. However, it’s not stopping her from having the best fun.

The new season will also explore Janelle and Christine’s close relationship, despite no longer being sister wives, and of course, the tragic loss of Garrison Brown and how the family came together in grief.

With all this new drama being expected from the upcoming season, fans are mainly eager to see how Kody and Robyn handle monogamy. Already, in the trailer, we’ve heard Robyn complain about feeling like the fool that got left behind.

Kody, on his own part, is feeling out of sorts after the departure of three of his wives. “They have all betrayed me,” Kody exclaimed in the trailer. “I am out of my mind!”

Prior to this mass departure, Kody had previously claimed that he didn’t necessarily enjoy the challenges of plural marriage.

“I’ll be frank, plural marriage is not a challenge that I enjoy,” the Sister Wives’ patriarch said in a confessional, adding that the whole enterprise has made him become “cynical”.

“There’s this belief in our religion of, this sort of thought process of, ‘Endure to the end,’” he said, “I’m looking back at nearly 30 years of plural marriage, or marriage in general, of our family, and it has been sort of an ‘Endure to the end’ experience.”
