Anyway, Charles is reportedly looking forward to reconciling with his younger son regardless of the numerous attacks he’s heaped on the Royal Family.

Prince Harry’s Short Meeting With King Charles Explained

Prince Harry did a very sweet thing for father King Charles when he rushed over to England to see him shortly after his cancer diagnosis.

However, it was a shock to royal fans around the world when Harry flew home the very next day. Later it emerged that he only managed to hold a brief 30 minutes meeting with the King.

The shock deepened. Did the father and son have an argument, did the relationship strengthen, did anything change? The questions were climbing on top of each other.

Now there’s an explanation. The King was basically quarantined at the time and had “to reduce social contact” as he undergoes treatment. This also led to the King stepping back from public-facing duties for a few months before he slowly eased back into it.

Happily, the King has so far recovered that he is gearing up for his tour of Samoa and Australia, leading an insider to declare, “The sun wasn’t shining in February but it is shining now.”

When it comes to how chummy Charles and Harry are at the moment, I’d say not so much judging from current memory.

Remember when Harry traveled to UK but King Charles was “too busy” to see him?  Yup, they’re yet to meet face-to-face since their brief February meeting.

When it comes to reconciliation, Charles is reportedly open to it despite Harry calling his wife Queen Camilla a “wicked stepmother” in his bestselling book.

“Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role.

That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.”
