Kevin McGarry Back to Work on WCTH Season 12

When Calls the Heart Season 11 ended on a cliffhanger last month. The cast is already back to work on the set of the Hallmark Channel series, which will premiere in 2025. In May, Hallmark renewed the popular drama for a 12th season. Production was set to start in July in Canada.

Many of the cast members shared updates on social media. Kevin McGarry revealed that he’s ready to get back to Hope Valley. McGarry plays Mountie Nathan Grant on the show, who is also Elizabeth Thatcher’s (Erin Krakow) love interest. At the end of the Season 11 finale, the two confessed their feelings for one another and sealed it with a kiss.

On Monday, July 15, McGarry shared a clip of himself inside his trailer. “It begins… WCTH12,” he captioned the video posted to his Instagram Story, reports Showbiz CheatSheet. Krakow shared a shot of herself on the set. “#PlanSelfieNotaPlainSelfie,” she coyly captioned the photo taken earlier this month.

Jack Wagner is also heading back to the show. He posted an update on Instagram from the airport. “Season 12, When Calls the Heart. Amazing. Very Grateful. Thanks to you. Much love,” he told the fans. Wagner was waiting to board his flight to Vancouver as he expressed his appreciation for the series.

What To Expect From When Calls The Heart Season 12

Hearties are looking for the next installment in the series. When Calls the Heart Season 12 will pick up immediately after Season 11’s cliffhanger. A mountie rode into town and shocked Elizabeth, who just kissed Nathan. He informed her that he had news about her late husband Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing).

This could halt her blossoming relationship with Nathan. Some fans wonder if this means he’ll return from the dead. Meanwhile, Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) will navigate his role as governor. He might even finally move on and find a new love interest.
