Counting On alum Jason Duggar just brought the Duggar name into disrepute again and it has been alleged that he misrepresented himself in business as being a licensed contractor. Of course, TLC fans have a lot to say about the young man who recently proposed to his girlfriend, Maddie Grace.

Jason Duggar Has Businesses

In June last year, Counting On fans heard that Jase, who worked in construction, had changed over to running a tree trimming business. At the time, many TLC fans slammed him because it didn’t seem as if he had any proper training. After all, it could be a dangerous job,

Jason Duggar had previously constructed residential homes and his company was called Build Master Construction. At the time, Counting On fans heard a rumor that he failed to renew his license. Now it turns out that he might have run into problems because someone filed a lawsuit against him.

Jason Duggar seems to have ghosted some of the work and the complaint focuses on him allegedly not being a licensed contractor when he took on the work. So, he was accused of allegedly making “false representations.”

When the news reached Reddit, TLC fans immediately started slamming Jason Duggar. The OP said:

I haven’t reviewed it super thoroughly but it looks like Jason sold somebody a house that was defective and kept promising to fix it and then his subcontractors wouldn’t show up and then he eventually just ghosted them.

Reactions came thick and fast, and Counting On fans expressed their disappointment in Jim Bob Duggar’s son. Here are some of their comments:

  • Wow. The entitlement with this bunch is unreal. Rules and laws don’t seem to apply to them.
  • They missed the law school section at school of the dining room table.
  • Who would’ve thought a Duggar would get caught with having no license…
  • God the arrogance from these people is just unreal. This is such a stupid f–king thing to lie about.
  • Whoa. So, straight up fraud, then.
  • I would say actually probably his insurance would provide counsel but I bet this dude doesn’t have insurance or his insurance is gonna deny coverage because he’s not a licensed contractor.
