Hallmark spoilers and updates reveal In Hallmark’s upcoming Countdown to Christmas film, The Santa Class, Kimberley Sustad and Benjamin Ayres team up to rescue the holiday spirit.
The story follows Kate North, who runs a faltering Santa School, and her dedicated instructor, Dan; together, they embark on a mission to help a Santa Claus suffering from amnesia recover his lost memories.
Kimberley Sustad and Benjamin Ayres take the lead in Hallmark’s festive film, The Santa Class.
What’s the story behind this new holiday feature-as reported by TV Insider, “Kate North finds herself reluctantly stepping into her father’s once-renowned but now struggling Santa School. Kate and her new colleague Dan stumble upon a man they believe to be the genuine Santa Claus, who has amnesia after his sleigh veered off course and crashed near the school.”
“Determined to help him regain his identity, they invite him to join their rigorous Santa training program. This year is crucial for Kate’s school, as they must outshine their competitor, St. Nick’s Academy, close-Nick must recover his memories, or the very essence of Christmas could be in jeopardy.”
This holiday season, Benjamin is taking center stage in two delightful Hallmark Christmas films; first up is The Santa Class, set to premiere on Saturday, December 14, exclusively on the Hallmark Channel.
Following that, he will also be featured in Happy Holidays From Cherry Lane, which will be available on Hallmark+ starting Thursday, December 12, the network’s newly rebranded streaming service.
Alongside Ayres, the film also stars Erica Durance and Serge Houde, transporting viewers back to 1960.
The plot revolves around Eli and Penny as they welcome Eli’s father, Walter, into their home, navigating through drama and revealing hard truths that ultimately strengthen their family bonds.
Also in ‘Happy Holidays From Cherry Lane’, Catherine Bell and James Denton return as Regina and Nelson in a captivating story set in 1998. When a blizzard strands him at her home, their paths collide in an unexpected way.
Meanwhile, Julie Gonzalo and Ryan Rottman play Jessie and Tim, former high school sweethearts who cross paths again in 2015 during her sister’s wedding, where Tim serves as the officiant.
