Hollywood Star Distances Herself From Meghan Markle Due To Crumbling Reputation

Meghan Markle is trying her best to build a lifestyle brand that will take a torch to Gwyneth’s Paltrow’s Goop and even rival Martha Stewart’s.

Earlier this year, she launched the official Instagram page for the brand, and a few months on, she shared its branded jams with friends, celebrities and influencers.

However, one of the celebrities that the Sussexes have been chummy with in the past appear to have taken a step back from the relationship, according to a source.

Meghan Markle – Reportedly Lacks Star Power in the US

While Meghan Markle and Reality TV queen Kris Jenner have not been pictured together, it’s speculated that Kris would be an important asset to the Sussexes’ struggle to build a functioning Hollywood brand.

When Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland was pictured together with Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian at a Hollywood event in Los Angeles, rumors naturally abounded that the Kardashians’ world is about to collide with the Sussexes’.

Sadly, this will no longer happen as the Kardashians’ matriarch has seemingly decided that associating with Meghan isn’t good for her family’s reputation.

“Kris has a lot on her plate, but ultimately people can’t help but wonder if she’s dropped them because she’s seen the disastrous opinion polls on the Sussexes,” the source claimed.

The rejection is said to have been a pretty big blow to the Duchess, 43, as she once believed that she was the one that was too good to associate with a Kardashian.

The source added: “No doubt they [Harry and Meghan] felt they were lowering their standards a little by associating with the Kardashians, so to end up being rejected by them is a pretty big blow.”

“Meghan had eventually come around to the idea and was excited to be working with Kardashians… so it’s beyond humiliating for her to be tossed aside.”

The good news is that Meghan hasn’t lost all her Hollywood contacts, as her friendship with Oprah Winfrey remains strong to this day despite rumors claiming otherwise.

The former actress recently reunited with Oprah at a bookshop opening in California, which she attended as one of several speakers booked for the event.
