HMN News: Looks like HMN is set to rebrand and is soon becoming the Hallmark+ streaming service on September 10th, 2024. Some viewers were confused because up until now a lot of the HMN content was on Peacock, fortunately however, we have good news to be able to clear up any of the confusion concerning the fans’ favorite series and where their new home will be.
Of course the people that subscribe and pay a monthly or yearly fee for their HMN service want to know if they’ll be grandfathered in or not.
This is what they have to say concerning that: “On launch day [September 10th], all Hallmark Movies Now subscribers have been informed of the price change in advance.
Once Hallmark+ officially launches, the price change will take effect on the date of their next billing cycle, whether monthly or annual.”
It seems that there have been some reports that Peacock will air Hallmark+ content 24 hours after the initial premiere, but currently that doesn’t happen until the content either premieres on the OG TV channel, or if it moves to Hallmark Mystery.
The official word is this: “No. Peacock will continue to air a live, linear feed of Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and Hallmark Family.”
It’s a legit question, is the Hallmark Channel starting from scratch with this new platform or is it simply rebranding? Word of God says, “We consider this a relaunch, given the newly added membership benefits and new state of original content.”
Are there plans for the service to be available in Canada? Or the UK or Europe eventually? Are there any plans for that going forward or what?
Official word: “For our DTC apps and website Hallmark+ will only be available in the US at the time of the launch. On background, we are working on providing Hallmark+ to international viewers.”
You can subscribe online to the service for $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year. Along with original series like “Celebrations with Lacy Chabert”, “Love on the Danube” and “The Jane Mysteries” starring Jodie Sweeting, subscribers will get a $5 Hallmark gold crown credit, along with other incentives and surprises.
Sounds like Hallmark is really rolling out the red carpet for their subscribers, the fans are in for a real treat! Fortunately, the launch date is today so they don’t have to wait. Be sure and check back here for updates on everything Hallmark! Stay tuned!!!
