‘Golden Bachelorette’ Jack Lencioni Reveals Ex-Wife’s Reaction To The Show

Golden Bachelorette contestant Jack Lencioni survived the first rush of eliminations by Joan Vassos and arrived singing “My Way,” after he exited the limo. This week, the caterer from Chicago, Illinois revealed the reaction of his ex-wife and his kids when they discovered he would be on the ABC show. 

Jack Lencioni Works In The Food Industry

When ABC fans first found out who would be competing for the heart of Joan Vassos on The Golden Bachelorette, they thought that Jack might stand a chance. After all, the lead seemed to like Gerry Turner a lot before she self-eliminated from The Golden Bachelor. He owned a food franchise, and Jack is also big into catering. 

Of course, it might take more than just cooking skills by Jack Lencioni to win the heart of Joan Vassos, and competition is fierce, The original cast consisted of people with secure jobs or comfortable retirement. Contestants ranged from a rancher through to doctors, a representative from the UN, and a retired firefighter. 

Ex-Wife Didn’t Want Jack On The ABC Show

On the Vial Files podcast this week, Nick Viall and Emily Baker talked about Sean Diddy Combs, Shannon Beador, and more. But, their special guest was Jack from The Golden Bachelorette. He talked about his family and explained that his ex-wife and his kids hated the idea of him appearing with Joan Vassos.

Jack Lencioni said:

My ex-wife and my two daughters were not happy at all about it when I first started doing it. And right now, all three of them are [happy]. I think my ex was thinking i was going to say something stupid  because I have a habit of saying something stupid. But, I would never disrespect the wonderful woman. [But she’s] just not the woman for me.

The Golden Bachelorette contestant also talked about his many ex-girlfriends. Certainly, since he sold up his business, the ABC star hasn’t been sitting at home bored out of his mind. In fact, many of Jack Lencioni’s exes know each other and he calls them up almost every “week.” No doubt, if Joan Vassos sends him home, she can expect a call from him on occasion.
