Glenn Thore Lives In A Home That Lets Down The Neighborhood?

My Big Fat Fabulous Life (MBFFL) star Glenn Thore lives in a big home in Greensboro, North Carolina. Before her death, his wife, Babs also lived there and so did Hunter, their son, and Whitney Way Thore on and off. But, local TLC fans claim the home looks neglected and lets down the tone of the neighborhood. Read on to find out more.  

Glenn Thore Was Moving To Alabama

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans saw that Whitney Way Thore threw a crying fit when Glenn told her that he wanted to move to Alabama. He’d offered to help her track down an adopted child. Guilt-tripping her dad seemed to work. Eventually, he stayed in the big house in Greensboro. 

Glenn Thore stayed and TLC fans saw that Whitney Way Thore got in a decorator to sort out at least some of the inside of the home. At the time, she raved about the olden days when she and her friends used to dance in one of the rooms. But allegedly, the outside looks like a pit. 

MBFFL Fans Discuss The Home Of Glenn

Sometimes, TLC films in locations where the cast doesn’t live. There is a photo of the home, but it might not be the correct one. However, for those who live in Greensboro, it does not matter much. Apparently, the house where Glenn lives for real looks neglected from the outside.

Glenn Thore, according to a My Big Fat Fabulous Life fan on Reddit, could move to a better place. On Friday, u/Faux—Fox shared their opinion of the home as they drive past it often. In their long caption, they said in part:

…I have been passing the Thore house to and from work for the last 2 years…It resides in a very rich neighborhood and I can’t help but notice it looks bad in comparison to the neighboring houses. There has been a rusty beater of a car sitting out front of what is suppose to be the grand entrance…The shrubbery is overgrown…why is an elderly man living alone in this near mansion?

TLC Fans React In The Discussion

In the comments that followed, many MBFFL fans wished that Glernn had moved to Alabama to be with his daughter, Angie Burdett. Here are some other reactions:

• I wouldn’t say it’s a mansion! But it is too big for him, and Whitney has blocked him from freeing himself, and downsizing.
• why don’t they just live in the bigger house together since she’s always up his *ss 24/7 anyway ?! I don’t get it at all.
• …let your dad find a condo on the beach by his REAL family he wishes you were.
• Glenn wanted to sell, but WWT threw a fit and redid the room on the main floor, to be Glenn’s bedroom. She didn’t want him selling “her” family home. I’d love if he sold and bought a home in a 55+ community. So many activities.
• if I had a house like that (and Glenn’s wealth), I wouldn’t be parking my beater car right out front. It never moves.
• Could that car belong to a house sitter or resident property caretaker?
