GH Spoilers: William Lipton Cast In Amazon’s “The Runarounds”, No More Cameron In PC?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note while the circumstances around his arrival in Port Charles were awful, seeing Cameron Webber at Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) memorial was bittersweet.

Now, some amazing news has hit about the character’s portrayer, actor William Lipton, landing a series role on Amazon.

General Hospital Spoilers – William Lipton Lands Role In Amazon’s “The Runarounds”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon and the producers of Netflix’s Outer Banks are working on a new series together called The Runarounds.

Labeled as a music drama, exclusively for Amazon, the eight-show series follows a group of post-high school band members called, The Runarounds, as they try to hit it big in the music industry. It’s not a spinoff of Outer Banks.

However, “The Runarounds” music group is the very same one featured in season 3 of Outer Banks.

It’s important to note that the show isn’t a reality series, but fictional and scripted. It stars The Runarounds’ real-life members, which include Lipton, as well as Jeremy Yun, Axel Ellis, Jesse Golliher, and Zendé Murdock.

GH Spoilers – William Lipton Hopes On Social Media

Of course, Lipton hopped on Instagram to announce the news, with a snapshot of the Hollywood Reporter article, and a caption that reads, “Where are we going fellas? To the top, Johnny” (a quote from the late John Lennon).

Fellow GHer Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) added two comments, one filled with emojis, including goats (GOAT – greatest of all time), and another stating, “I’M SO PROUD OF U”.

Actress Sydney Mikayla (ex-Trina Robinson) also commented with, “CONGRATULATIONS”, followed by a fire emoji.

While this news is great for Lipton, what does this mean for his GH character, Cameron Webber?

Well, the Amazon show has only eight episodes, so there’s a good chance that Cam could still pop in and out of Port Charles here and there when his schedule allows. No airdate for The Runarounds has been released as of yet.
