GH Spoilers: William DeVry’s Plea To Revive Julian Jerome On The ABC Show

General Hospital Spoilers: William DeVry's Plea To Revive Julian Jerome On The ShowGeneral Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveal William DeVry was written off the show nearly four years ago when Julian Jerome was killed. But is there a chance he could return once more, now that he wants to resurrect the mobster?

General Hospital Spoilers – Julian Jerome Was Killed Off Before

Longtime viewers will remember Julian was killed off before, when the character was played by a different actor-when he was resurrected last time, it was revealed he’d been in witness protection.

Even though this time around he was shown in a body bag as a floater after being shot off a bridge, nothing’s impossible with character resurrections!

Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) and several Cassadines have been resurrected over the years, including Drew having been in stasis.

If GH really wanted to bring Julian back and have DeVry play him, they’d figure out a way to do so.

GH Spoilers – Apparently DeVry Was Fired

Apparently, the actor was fired, but it could be simply his contract was not renewed-but basically the same thing applies.

Fans of General Hospital were left in utter shock when the decision was made to let go of William DeVry and bid farewell to his character, Julian Jerome.

The unresolved bond between Julian and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) left viewers particularly heartbroken; DeVry had joined the show back in 2013, portraying the presumed dead mobster.

Unfortunately, Julian Jerome met his demise in 2020 after being shot; while this departure may have caught viewers off guard, the actor had sensed the inevitable for years.

He had previously expressed that the writers had lost interest in his character; nevertheless, he cherishes the time he spent on the soap opera and has no regrets.

General Hospital Spoilers – Never Again? Not So Fast!

After leaving the show, he made it clear that he wouldn’t return if he was fired, and some fans thought he was throwing shade at his co-stars, but that wasn’t the case.

DeVry recently explained to soaps.com that he still loved the show, his character, and his colleague but he just felt that the character had reached its limit in terms of storyline.

Despite his initial statement, William DeVry admitted that he would consider coming back if given the opportunity.

He believes there are many loose ends to tie up and would love to “fix” Julian Jerome’s legacy by creating a fresh storyline that incorporates the beloved history of the show.

However, with the bloated cast, new writers, and other complications, even though Frank Valentini knows his desires, so far he hasn’t been asked back.
