That means she’ll be spending time with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr), and it’ll be hard to hide that from Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Emily ‘Scout’ Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).
Danny is already feeling lower than low in the wake of his mother’s death, and seeing Rocco reunited with his own crushed him.
On top of that, he feels guilty for feeling his way, and rumor has it his angst and heartbreak will soon turn to rage as he tries to process Lulu’s return on the heels of Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death.
Lulu has only just found out that Dante even moved on and had a relationship with someone else. Learning that she is the reason that said someone else is dead wasn’t what she expected, and it’s going to take time for her to process how she feels about that, as well as how she imagines Dante feels about it.
The latest love of his life would still be here if it weren’t for Lulu needing a liver transplant. Having to choose one of them over the other feels cruel and insensitive, but Lulu can hardly say she’s unhappy that she’s the one still standing, of the two of them.
Now, she’ll have to contend with the pain left on the shoulders of Sam’s children. While Sam may have been able to play surrogate for Lulu while she was in a coma, it won’t be the same in reverse.
Lulu can’t just fill Sam’s shoes for Danny and Scout, and she won’t be able to make it all better when Rocco has to deal with the side effects of her bouncing back.
It’s unlikely that Scout is going to feel as much anger or resentment toward Rocco, Dante, or anyone else involved. It’s not their fault that Lulu has come out of her coma as such an inopportune and painful time.
Rubbing salt in the wound of her dead mother won’t likely hit Scout the same way that it’s clearly already hitting Danny.
He’s jealous, despite not wanting to feel that way. Scout may be too young to process her feelings, though it may occur to her how unfair it is that she had to lose her mom at all.
It’s Danny who is more likely to become loose cannon following his mom’s death. No one will be all that surprised that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) son might take a shine to violence as a way of dealing with his grief.
Losing his mother was already only made bearable by his family rallying around him. Knowing that Dante and Rocco shared in his loss made it that much more bearable.
When their attention drifts to Lulu instead of Sam and her left-behind kids, Danny may feel quite different about living with them and watching this reunion with Lulu take place up close.
Will he resort to lashing out, causing pain, or bad behavior to escape it? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
