General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was more than relieved to wake up and find Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) waiting for him in his mother’s penthouse apartment.
She brought the good news with her that a liver donor had been secured for his little sister, Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins).
But by the time Lucky arrived at the hospital, he was confronted with the harsh reality that there may be yet another obstacle standing in the way of Lulu receiving the transplant she so desperately needs.
This is where the rubber meets the road, and we may see some hospital protocols broken to accommodate this very special patient, the child of Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Franics). Will Lucky be instrumental in making that happen?
General Hospital Spoilers — Like Father, Like Son
Let me just say that this is definitely something that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) would try to pull off if he were alive.
It won’t surprise Laura to see her son fight for Lulu the same way that Luke would have, even coming to the point of biting heads off of GH staff if he has to just to get the job done.
Lucky is more inclined to say, “screw the protocols and save my sister.” But will someone like GH Co-Chief of Staff Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) be sympathetic to his demands?
GH Spoilers – Hint Sam McCall’s Health Poses A Different Threat
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed the secondary screening with flying colors, supposedly. She and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were thrilled enough with those results to share it with their kids and get everyone’s hopes up.
Now, hearing that there is another hurdle to overcome — one that may be insurmountable — could be devastating for their family. No one wants to break this news to Rocco; so perhaps they just won’t. What if there is another way to make sure Lulu gets the liver she needs?
General Hospital Spoilers — An Undercover Operation
In the end, it may be that Sam only goes under the knife to offer cover to the hospital for giving Lulu someone else’s liver — Lucky’s, of course. Yes, the parasite, we know.
But if the choice is between Lulu dying because she doesn’t receive a liver at all, or receiving one that might still kill her, then her family may feel it’s worth the experimental shot.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the hospital can legally break protocol without being put under the microscope for some serious liability risks. That’s where Sam’s liver might come in.
If they still remove part of it and claim to put her liver into Lulu while actually putting Lucky’s in, will anyone but the few staff members involved know the difference? Can they pull this off? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
