GH Spoilers: Will Jagger’s Revenge Come By Way Of Letting ‘Stone’ Go After Sonny?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) didn’t mince words when he told Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) his FBI training had taught him well how to eliminate someone without getting his hands dirty.

Letting someone else get to the target in time to take them out is part of that plan, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knows it well.

The mob boss doesn’t have many people in his corner currently, and it’s possible that Jagger’s return to Port Charles was orchestrated in mind with letting the shooter who has been after Sonny and the other mob elites of Port Chuck reach his intended target in the nick of time.

With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) back in the flesh, fans are all too curious if he’s really the bad guy — and if so, whether he’s been programmed to be such against his will.

Is Jagger that much of a threat to have masterminded a way to take out the mob entirely in the name of justice for his late brother, Michael ‘Stone’ Cates (Michael Sutton)? We’re about to find out.

Jagger just can’t let go of the past. Losing his brother would have been painful enough on its own, but knowing that he would likely still be here today had he never met Sonny is what eats away at him — and apparently has been all these years.

Nearly thirty years after Stone’s death, Jagger is bent on getting justice, and he’s tired of waiting for law enforcement to catch up and take care of it.

He knows Sonny is never going to jail for playing a role in what ultimately caused his brother’s death.

Seeing him behind bars — or six feet under — is an itch that Jagger just has to scratch, even if it costs him everything.

While it sounds like Jason may have been programmed to come back and kill his former brother from another mother, diehard GH fans want to believe that nothing can really come between Jason and Sonny.

Will confrontation or interaction with the mob boss end up striking a nerve just enough to let the real Jason shine through, or will the brainwashing he has once again endured be strong enough to stick this time?

The collective seems to believe the old Jason will come back to us, but there are no guarantees.

GH Spoilers — There Is A Third Player In The Mix

Rumor has it Jason has had some help in his pursuit of justice for Jagger. When Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) was killed, it was during a prison transport.

She was confronted by two gunmen in masks, and they left the innocent parties alone while carting Olivia off to execute her.

This falls right in line with the former Jason’s character, so we have to believe the Stone Cold we loved isn’t entirely gone. At the same time, he may be acting on Jagger’s orders not to harm the innocent. But who was the second gunman who helped Jason?

Was it Jagger himself, or is someone else from Sonny’s past — and perhaps the great beyond — coming back too? Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), are you out there?

Will it be Sonny’s best friend, or maybe even his son, who pulls the trigger on Sonny as Jagger pretends to be just minutes too late to stop it? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
