GH Spoilers: Will Elizabeth Unearth The Truth About Portia’s Scheme To Make Brad Take The Blame For Her Crime?

General Hospital (GHOspoilers claim Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is onto Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

It wouldn’t take anyone long to put the pieces of this puzzle together and realize the person who is the most infuriated by the thought of Heather Webber (Alley Mills) going free is also the Co-Chief of Staff at GH and the person who took Heather’s blood sample on the day her fault labs were ran.

As Portia starts pointing the finger at Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and he insists he’s innocent, it’ll be hard for Elizabeth to ignore that he had no skin in the game while Portia very much did. But will she speak up, or will she stay quiet out of fear of repercussions for going against her boss?

General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Robinson Carries Clout

Portia is walking a fine line by tiptoeing around Brad’s reputation and planting doubt in everyone’s minds about the likelihood that Brad is up to anything besides following protocol in the GH lab.

Elizabeth was surprised when Portia inquired as to whether she had had any issues with Brad, who has been nothing but a model employee since he came back to the hospital as far as Elizabeth can tell.

Still, Elizabeth’s suspicions may give her some hesitation because she doesn’t want to rock the boat when Portia holds so much power. While she certainly has the access needed to change lab results, she also has the power to demote or fire Elizabeth.

GH Spoilers – Reveal Brad Cooper Is on Probation

Portia will have one valid point and only one — that Brad is on a probationary period at GH. One screw-up and he’s out on his behind with no chance of ever returning to the hospital he loves so much to work.

It was a score the first time around with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) being on his side, but everyone knows he won’t get that lucky again.

Will anyone even entertain his insistence that he didn’t do anything wrong? We can’t wait to see whether Elizabeth will take a stand for him.

We doubt Elizabeth is going to immediately jump to Brad’s defense. She won’t want to jeopardize her career over a hunch, nor her friendship with Portia. At the same time, it’s going to nag at her that something just isn’t right with her friendly boss.

While she has no loyalty to Brad, she does try to refrain from making decisions that hinder her ability to live with herself.

Letting Brad go down for something Portia did won’t sit well with her, but just how long will she keep it to herself before she can’t take it anymore? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
