GH Spoilers: Will Anna Become Police Commissioner?

The General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease whether Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will become the new police commissioner. She received an appealing offer. Read on to learn more.

General Hospital Spoilers – Did Laura Spencer Offer Anna Devane The Position?

The question is whether Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) will offer Anna the position of police commissioner.

The General Hospital spoilers show Laura telling Anna that she is the “next most qualified candidate.” Someone brought up this question on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards.

The user momof3_angels asked: “Will Laura offer Anna the job of police commissioner?”

GH fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. One fan responded: “They have to find something for Anna to do to make her relevant.” Another one wrote: “I wouldn’t have a problem with it.” A third user mused: “Why not… Anna seems like the best choice to me.”

The General Hospital spoilers also suggest that Laura could be asking Anna to track down Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

Some fans wondered if Anna was eligible for the position since she was revealed as a traitor. She used to work as a double agent and had to do some jobs, which she was ashamed of.

One fan noted: “That double agent thing all came out when Faison first appeared (though I can’t recall if it was public knowledge). I think she’d be ok.”

Another user commented: “Yes – people in PC knew she had a double agent past and had redeemed herself. It was stupid that Victor was able to do so much damage by revealing what had already been revealed so many decades earlier.”

GH Spoilers – Does Anna Devane Want the Position?

The General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura wants Anna to work as a police commissioner. However, Anna doesn’t think she’s the right person for the role.

She reminds her that she shot Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). In another thread, fans debated whether Anna should become the new commissioner.

One fan argued: “And Laura was RIGHT it was an ACCIDENT!” Another user noted: “Charlotte only has herself to blame for getting shot. She had been stalking Anna for months and terrorizing her and she broke into Anna’s home and that little psycho is proud of her bullet wound.”

A third user noted: “In my opinion, Anna is the least to blame for Charlotte’s shooting. Valentin, Laura, and partially Nina are the most to blame. If Anna had been told Charlotte was stalking her, she would have never shot Charlotte.

Some GH fans fear that Anna could turn down the job. What are your thoughts? Do you think Anna should become police commissioner? Sound off below in the comment section.
