GH Spoilers: Who Shot Jagger Cates? Comatose Victim May Know His Shooter!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there may be a bit of a murder mystery coming up very soon. John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is making some bold moves that could be placing him at risk.

His most recent move, arresting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is sure to make these even worse for the FBI agent.

It’s becoming more likely every day that someone may try to shoot John and get him out of the way for good. Whether they succeed or not is another question.

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates Could Survive The Shooting!

It is possible that John may survive if someone does indeed shoot him. However, he may be comatose for quite some time while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the rest of the Port Charles Police Department search for John’s attacker.

If there’s little evidence for cops to go on, they may have no choice but to wait for John to wake up. John may very well see who pulled the trigger and be able to identify them. But that’s where things could take a turn.

GH Spoilers – John Cates May Point The Finger At Sonny Corinthos

As viewers know, John has a long-standing vendetta against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). He could easily lie that the person who shot him is his most hated enemy.

He’s been desperate to put Sonny away, and has even allied himself with Ava Jerome (Maura West) in order to make that happen.

Sonny’s been acting out recently because Ava has had his bi-polar medication replaced with placebos. And while it seems possible that he could kill Jagger in his current state, he won’t be the guilty party.

General Hospital Spoilers – Danny Morgan Hates John Cates

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) knows that Cates is responsible for the trouble that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been going through in the last few months and almost forced Jason to leave town once again.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Jason gave Danny a lesson in gun safety, so he might be more proficient with a firearm that authorities would know.

If Cates knows that Danny is the one who shot him, he could possible feel a bit guilty for his part in keeping Jason away from his family. But would Danny really let Sonny take the rap for something he did?
