General Hospital fans want to know what happened to Cyrus Renault. One fan took to Reddit to share their thoughts.

The last time he was on screen, he was recovering from being beaten up by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) mentioned in passing that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) would have him killed.

According to the General Hospital spoilers, Cyrus disappeared from the canvas. Is he still in hiding? Did he get killed? Fans want to know what happened to his character.

It’s as if the writers dropped the character altogether. Cyrus was the one they predicted would be involved with Pikeman.

“Add him to the list of characters that wander off with no mention for a while,” one fan responded.

“Like everything else, they dropped it. I don’t know how any of these writers win Emmys,” another user wrote.

Cyrus Renault claimed that he came back from life. He was saved by God and wanted to be seen as the good guy. However, that put him into a box.

The show thrives with its current crop of villains and troublemakers. Some fans noted that Jeff Kober is good at playing a villain.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Failed at Becoming Saved?

Cyrus claimed he was saved by God. He was given a second chance at last. Some fans think he failed to prove himself. The show didn’t want to continue its storyline and it shows.

“And what happened to Laura trying to ‘no longer protect Sonny.’ Didn’t she ask Cyrus to report Sonny for the beating? That storyline went into never-never land…” another user mused.

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) encouraged Cyrus to report Sonny to the police. Nothing has come out of it since. Sonny’s already experiencing his own downfall. It’s unclear whether he will pain for his actions.

Cyrus told Laura he wasn’t going to press charges against Sonny. He wanted to prove that he was the better man. He was pushed off the show ever since. However, Jeff Kober is currently filming a movie. So, Cyrus’s storyline is on hold.
