General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, September 25  tease salvation pleas, strokes of luck and prisoner prayers!

Sam Mc Call (Kelly Monaco) pleads for someone’s help saving her mother, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has a stroke of luck, and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) says prisoner prayers.

General Hospital Spoilers: Salvation Pleas

Sam visits Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and pleads with her to help her save her mother. Sam likely doesn’t believe the alibi that Carly gave Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and wants her to tell the truth she’s sure Carly knows.

It looks like she wants to try and get the truth out about John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) real killer before trying to dive for the gun.

Finding the gun might help since it won’t match the bullets taken from Cates, but it’s a dangerous endeavor. Destroying Sonny’s alibi would be a less dangerous task, even if Carly suspects him too.

GH Spoilers: Martin Grey Continues His Counsel

In Pentonville, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) continues his counsel, telling Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) she needs to let him do the next best thing.

She looked pretty doubtful when he suggested that she’d have to prove Sonny killed Cates in order to exonerate herself and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Some mention of recusing himself from her case was made, after all it would be a huge conflict of interest, Sonny having retained him! But she’s not the only Davis family member he’ll talk to that day!

General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Lansing-Davis Meets With Martin Grey

Alexis did tell Martin she was trying to protect Kristina, and now Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) also meets with him.

She says she was right to worry-but as the Assistant District Attorney she should recuse herself from this case as well.

She’s too close to her mother’s case and with an obvious prejudice towards Kristina and Alexis’ protection of her.

Martin may tell Molly things off the record but probably shouldn’t, things like her mother would do anything to protect her daughters! Alexis had actually told him if anyone was going to prison it would be her, not Kristina!

GH Spoilers: Jordan Ashford Opens Up To Isaiah Gannon

Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is still in GH recovering from his injuries, and getting better and better acquainted with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

He tells her that her son Dr. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) may have a different assessment. It sounds like they are talking about some medical things, possibly Isaiah’s condition, or possibly Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins).

Her name had come up between TJ and Isaiah in regards to finding Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and bringing him back for donor testing. Ironically, or perhaps not, Isaiah is a transplant surgeon.

General Hospital Spoilers: Strokes Of Luck

Meanwhile, in Africa Ulrich, aka  Jenz thinks he may be having a stroke of luck, saying this is his lucky day. He’ll make a high-stakes offer, likely at the poker table with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

It’s unsure whether Lucky, in a prison cell elsewhere in the compound knows Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are there.

It all depends on whether Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) was able to get a message to him or not. There’s also a question of what the high-stakes offer is-are they gambling for Lucky’s life?

GH Spoilers: Prisoner Prayers

In the meantime, Lucky’s sitting in his cell and it’s obvious he is talking to someone-he says if the answer’s yes, he’ll just start praying now!

Perhaps Holly or even Anna may have managed to reach his cell and have given him an update, even though no one’s trying to break him out. Lucky had tried to unlock his cell with a small sharp tool, but either he was interrupted or it didn’t work.

Time is of the essence but timing is just as important-trying something at the wrong time could easily backfire!

General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina And Sonny’s Heart To Heart

Back in Port Charles, Kristina and Sonny have a heart to heart, as she asks him if he will be carrying that burden back.

The only one who knows for sure that Sonny killed Cates is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and likely Jason since he melted down the murder weapon.

The burden Sonny must carry is making sure none of his family and friends pay for his crimes-but nonetheless, they are, if only indirectly.

It’s not like anyone was sorry to see Cates get vigilante justice. But on the other hand, even he deserves real justice and his killer made to pay.
