Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) breaks some bad news, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has an attack of conscience and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) apologizes.
At home, Dante has to break some bad news to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) who was hoping Dante would leave the dangerous world of the PCPD. Sam’s in tears as he asks if she’ll still stay with him if he’s still a cop-Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talked him out of his resignation.
However, there are caveats-he keeps his cop life away from anything that even smacks of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That had been where his conflicts laid, and Anna told him she’d reassign those cases to someone not so close. Being a cop and being the son of a mobster had always been a conflict of interest for Dante.
At the hospital, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) talks to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in his office-they’re obviously discussing family problems.

They are likely talking about their father, Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) rapidly progressing ALS diagnosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Chase tells Finn there is just one big problem-and it’s also obvious Chase isn’t happy. Greg had been staying in Finn’s apartment until a crisis happened with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) getting into a scary situation and having to get Greg’s oxygen for him.
Since then, they’ve been trying to find solutions for their father to be safe.
At the Metro Court, Laura seems to be having an attack of conscience after visiting Heather Webber (Alley Mills) at Pentonville and their heart-to-heart talk.
She’d given Heather a photo of their mutual grandson Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) which made Heather very happy.
However, even if the cobalt poisoning from her hip replacement may have made Heather a murderer of several people, Laura felt compassion. Now she talks to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and feels bad, saying “I’m empathizing with a serial killer”!
At Bobbie’s, Jagger approaches Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and tells her he owes her an apology. Brook Lynn looks a little surprised, he didn’t make a good impression at all when she had to run him off the Quartermaine property!
That was when he was looking for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and questioning Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) about his father.
He may be apologizing for that, even though it’s been several weeks ago now-he’ll also catch up with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) who’s probably with Brook Lynn.
Elsewhere, Jason is talking to Anna and he has a confession for her- he tells her what the FBI has on him, which involves Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

He’s been protecting Carly from being punished for criminal acts when she briefly took over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
This was when Sonny was in Nixon Falls presumed dead and he was on the run in Canada with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Jason tells Anna if Carly ever finds out he knows exactly what her reaction’s going to be. And he won’t be able to live with himself if he doesn’t continue protecting her and doing Jagger’s bidding.
In the meantime, Carly, who stayed behind in the coffee warehouse eavesdropping on Jagger and Jason’s conversation visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville.
She’s using Brennan’s obvious attraction to her to try and get the information on Pikeman that Jagger needs, hoping to release his stranglehold on Jason!
Brennan’s attraction hasn’t cooled down one bit as he smiles, and says this day just got one hundred percent better! Can Carly charm the information needed out of Brennan, or will he see through her ploy?
