Brook Lynn’s Devotion

In their apartment after talking over the sad events of the past hours, Brook Lynn affirms her devotion to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

She tells her brand new husband that there’s no stopping it as they both grieve the loss of his father. Chase has been blaming himself for hastening Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) death by wanting him to officiate their wedding-he fears it was too much for him.

It was difficult for him to tell Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) of his death by phone as well, and there just seem to be more and more tears.

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to grieving the loss of a loved one, one simply has to get through it.

Unexpected Interruptions

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are startled at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) art gallery as she unexpectedly interrupts them.

The two were sitting at a desk making some plans and talking about pursuing a move, when Ava says her piece.

It’s difficult to tell if Ava is addressing both of them or one of them as she says “you more than anyone should know better than to spread gossip”.

Given Josslyn was Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) stepdaughter for a number of years, Ava is probably talking to her.

Elizabeth’s Misgivings

It looks like a very serious situation between Elizabeth and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as they talk in a break room at the hospital.

Finn has tears in his eyes as Elizabeth tells him she honestly didn’t think he was capable of it-perhaps referring to controlling his drinking?

There’s a good chance that her co-worker and Co-Chief of Staff Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) indeed didn’t keep her confidence when she confided in her about Finn’s drinking.

Has he now tried to return to work and Portia censured him in some way because of his past addictions?

Although he actually wasn’t an alcoholic, he was addicted to a street drug he used to control pain from Huntington’s Syndrome before he found a cure.

Drew’s Secrets

At the Quartermaine gatehouse that Willow and Michael Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen, Chad Duell) call their home, Drew opens up to Willow about his secrets.

Might she have found out her birth mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew have been having a secret fling?

Or might this be about Drew’s political aspirations, planning to run to take Congressman McConkey’s (Sam Murray) place when he dies?

Whatever Drew’s secrets are that he told, he tells her to promise not to tell the rest of the Quartermaines!

Nina Confronts Maxie Jones

At the Crimson Magazine office, Nina appears to be confronting Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with a secret gone public.

She appears to be referring to the “Deceptor” which Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) had been accused of stealing from Blair Kramer (Kassie DePaiva) a while back.

Her comment to Maxie doesn’t seem to fit with any current situation as she tells her “that was almost worth a little larceny”.

Or, perhaps Nina’s referring to some other situation and making accusations? Maxie seems to know exactly what Nina is referring to.
