GH Spoilers Wednesday, January 17: Fears Of Failure, A Mother’s Panic, A Daughter’s Rejection

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, January 17 tease fears of failure, a mother’s panic and a daughter’s rejection.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) shares her fears of failure, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) panics, and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) makes her rejection known.

General Hospital Spoilers – Fears Of Failure

Carly shares her fears of failure with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) after encouraging Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) that Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) parents need to be contacted.

Josslyn was insistent that his parents not be contacted because that was why he attempted suicide-because of his overbearing parents.

Unfortunately, it is hospital protocol and the protocol had to be followed because Adam’s parents are his next of kin even though he’s legal age.

Now, Carly second guesses her decision-it looks like she and Drew may be in the hospital chapel. She’s nearly in tears as she says she hopes to God she doesn’t mess that kid up.

GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Tells Someone To Leave

It looks like Finn’s checking in on Adam as he tells someone to leave, saying it may be the best if they weren’t there.

There is a possibility he is talking to Josslyn and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who were both in Adam’s room, Josslyn promising to stay until he woke up. Has Adam’s parents arrived yet, or has the hospital been able to track them down-perhaps his father has shown up (played by Steve Mize) and Adam’s woken up and upset.

Parent or not, if a patient is unduly upset by a visitor, then the visitor has to go!

General Hospital Spoilers – A Mother’s Panic

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was convinced by Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) was safer with Nikolas.

No sooner did Nikolas leave with the baby when Esme showed up at the Collins house to pick him up-Spencer found a toy and was ready to chase Nikolas down.

But there was Esme to pick up Ace, and she’s in a panic, she wants to pick him up and Spencer keeps saying she can’t!

Will Spencer tell her the truth that Nikolas has the baby, or just let her think he’s gone missing? Nikolas convinced Spencer that Esme would only hurt the baby and that she hasn’t changed one bit.

GH Spoilers – A Visiting Doctor?

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) tries to be convincing. She tells Dr. Sawyer (Catherine Kresge) to stay and listen to what she and Finn have to say.

Dr. Sawyer is a doctor from Beecher’s Corners who had also treated the patient who was the subject of Finn’s malpractice suit, Dennis Muldoon (uncast).

Finn and Elizabeth are hoping Dr. Sawyer can help Finn’s case and verify his findings, or lack thereof. Will she be able to convince her to listen?

GH Spoilers – Nina Corinthos Defends Herself

Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is still at the hospital and talking to Willow and Carly. She’s trying to defend her decisions and actions, after getting a hard pass from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who told her to stay away.

Nina is obviously talking about Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) knowing about her turning Carly and Drew into the SEC and saying nothing. She says if they don’t believe her, then they should ask Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine And Michael Corinthos Face Off

Meanwhile, Michael is at the Quartermaine mansion where he’s facing off with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) addresses him, telling Michael she has never been proud-some who know her might beg to differ!

Michael may be using his pride as an excuse to keep secret from Ned that he knew he didn’t turn Carly and Drew in for so long, prompting Tracy’s response.

Michael looks worried because he knows that Willow’s already upset with him and now his whole family is. They may not like Nina either, but was keeping secrets from his family and his wife really necessary?

GH Spoilers – A Daughter’s Rejection

Willow appears to be in an office, perhaps a doctor’s office at GH for privacy as she deals with her anger.

It’s difficult to tell who she’s angrier at, Michael or Nina but she’s certainly giving someone a tongue lashing.

Willow makes things very clear and it could either be to Nina or Michael-she tells the person she wants nothing more to do with them.

And Willow definitely means what she says-since Michael appears to be at the Quartermaine mansion, it must be Nina she’s addressing.
