GH Spoilers Wednesday, April 17: Brook Lynn And Chase’s Money Discussion, Laura And Anna’s Realization, Cyrus In Agreement

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 17 tease money discussions, realizations, and agreements.

Next On General Hospital

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) discuss money, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) realize something and Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) in agreement.

Brook Lynn And Chase’s Money Discussion

After Chase revealed he sold his truck so he and Brook Lynn could go to Florence Italy for their honeymoon, she was a little uncomfortable.

Now they discuss money matters over a meal in a restaurant and she tells him she appreciates the offer. Chase points his finger and says but you’re not going to take it.

Brook Lynn is an heiress, plus a businesswoman and Chase is a cop, she feels guilty about his over-the-top gesture. The two will discuss their financial differences and hopefully arrive at a meeting of the minds!

Supportive Friends

Elsewhere, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) support each other, and he says “we don’t think we’re worth saving, we don’t even try”.

It sounds like they’re talking about his ailing father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and perhaps Finn thinks he’s not trying hard enough for a miracle cure.

Gregory just had a checkup with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and admitted he wasn’t taking his medicines correctly. Perhaps Finn has seen this and fears his dad doesn’t think he’s worth saving.

Opening Up

In the meantime, Gregory is with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who opens up to him, and it appears something’s wrong.

He apparently asks what’s wrong and then says never mind, he thinks he knows. Elizabeth is having problems with her middle son Jake Webber (Hudson West) and his attitude towards his birth father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Gregory has been around her sons so much in the past couple of years he’s like their grandpa, so Liz has no problems asking his advice.

If anyone knows troubled relationships between fathers and sons, it’s him-he and Finn didn’t speak for years!

Laura And Anna’s Realization

In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office at the PCPD, she and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are having a discussion, shortly after Laura left Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

They had been discussing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and now Laura and Anna both have made some realizations they have been looking at Sonny through filters, so to speak.

Anna realized earlier she was looking at him through his friendship towards Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) her daughter’s first boyfriend, and Laura too, looked at him through a friendship filter.

Laura tells Anna that she and herself had been standing in the way of it for too long-“it” being Sonny’s takedown and arrest. Anna tells her she will be ready-she can count on it.

Cyrus In Agreement

Laura will talk to her brother Cyrus about pressing charges against Sonny for nearly killing him in a beatdown in a church.

This happened New Years’ Eve, and it was totally unwarranted. Cyrus had initially forgiven Sonny and refused to press charges but he’d tried to have him killed before.

Laura apparently is very persuasive with her oldest brother. Cyrus says he holds Sonny’s fate in his hands!
