GH Spoilers: Valentin’s Plan Back Backfires, Sonny Gets A Get Out Of Jail Free Card

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) thinks that he has crafted the perfect plan to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) out of the picture.

As leader of the Pikeman Group, Valentin decided that instead of continuing the plan to take Sonny out via sniper, that he would enact a much more devious plan.

Valentin has found a way to have Sonny’s bipolar medication altered so that he’s only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage. His plan is for Sonny’s behavior to become more and more erratic and lead him to commit crimes he can’t get out of.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Beat Cyrus Renault Almost To Death!

Earlier this year, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) goaded Sonny into beating him so badly that he almost died.

Then he sent Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to finish Cyrus off. Dex was all set to complete the hit for Sonny until Sonny called it off at the last possible moment.

Sonny’s attack on Cyrus has caused his former allies and friends, most notably Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to turn against Sonny for the first time, in Laura’s case.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Has Learned The Truth!

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has already uncovered the fact that Sonny medication is wrong. For now, she’s kept this a secret for her own reasons that aren’t exactly clear at the moment.

But she’s not the only one. Sonny daughter, Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is also aware that Sonny isn’t acting like himself.

Others, like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have also made not of the changes to Sonny. It’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos May Get Out Of Prison Time!

It’s not clear exactly when Sonny’s medication was messed with. Valentin didn’t take over at Pikeman until after Sonny had already beat Cyrus. So there’s a good chance that Sonny did that on his own volition.

But because it won’t be clear exactly his dosage was altered, Sonny may be able to get out of a lengthy prison sentence for what he did to Cyrus, even if he truly deserves it.

But that also means that people like Anna will be on the lookout for any further crimes Sonny commits, and once the medication situation is resolved, he may not have a defense.
