General Hospital Spoilers: It’s Showtime

It’s showtime for Marshall at the Savoy, as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tells him it’s time to show the world what he can do!

Curtis is putting on a big farewell party and celebration for his father as he prepares to go on tour with Wynton Marsalis. Marshall looks happy at a lifelong dream of his finally coming true, although he regrets leaving his son again.

Curtis has encouraged his father to follow his dreams and make them all come true. There’ll be time for homecoming visits later, but he’ll be on the road a while.

GH Spoilers: Nina Is Appalled!

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets some appalling news from Ava Jerome (Maura West) as they catch up on a girlfriends visit.

Nina can’t be anything but appalled when she realizes and asks for clarification, “You’re interested in Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)?” When Nina first came to Port Charles, Ric hurt her badly, pretending to romance her while running a scam with her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills).

They were trying to cheat Nina out of her money, but it all fell apart in the end and they were exposed. Can Nina talk Ava out of a romance with Ric, or does she just figure they’re a perfect match and Ava can take care of herself?

General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin Isn’t Surprised

In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) isn’t surprised at anything Ric would do-at the nurses’ station at the hospital it shows, as she asks him what has he done now?

Ric has come with some news for Elizabeth, and it might have to do with his representing Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and also the investigation into test result discrepancies.

Ric is the one who filed that case, trying to get the truth revealed of Heather’s post-surgery blood tests.

As viewers will remember, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) altered the results so Heather couldn’t get released from Pentonville.

But Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) discovered it and is leveraging what he knows about her to keep his job!

GH Spoilers: Encouraging Friends

Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) persuaded Isaiah to give it a try performing the transplant surgery on Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Now Isaiah’s new friend Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) encourages him, saying she hopes he has  one more miracle left in him-he’d told her about his past.

Isaiah’s experience is the best chance Lulu has to live, and so he agreed finally to try. He won’t be doing it alone, he’ll be part of a transplant team.

General Hospital Spoilers: Pre-Op Questions

Sam is being informed of the change to the surgical team, obviously having agreed fresh to the surgery even though Lulu has only a small chance of surviving.

Jordan’s terminology of “a miracle” to Isaiah is exactly right, it will take a  miracle for Lulu to survive, and even then she may not wake up. But Sam is a little confused as she talks to the original surgeon-and tells them she thought they were doing her surgery.

More than likely, that surgeon will be at the table along with Isaiah but Isaiah will perform the actual procedure.

Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will have to push hiring paperwork through quickly, or at least make Isaiah a visiting surgeon.

GH Spoilers: Father-Son Discussions

In the meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at Pozzulo’s, having a father-son discussion.

No doubt talking about his ironic situation of his live-in girlfriend donating part of her liver to his ex-wife, he says who saw any of this coming?

He previously talked it over with his childhood friend Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) who asked him if he was trying to convince him, or himself about his love for Lulu. And on top of everything, the procedure may not even save Lulu!

General Hospital Spoilers: Angry Accusations

It looks like Holly is in the police commissioner’s office, as PCPD commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) delivers angry accusations.

No doubt referring to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly “suddenly” having a grown daughter, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) Anna stares daggers and tells Holly that’s low for even her!

It’s true that Anna kept Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) a secret from Robert until she was eight years old, but that was to protect her from their enemies.

Holly had admitted to Robert had the Cody-Sasha situation not come up, she would have never told him Sasha was his daughter.

It wasn’t out of protection from enemies, it was out of self-protection it sounds like-if indeed, it’s not just another scam!
