General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, October 1 tease a son’s questions, a mentor’s surprise, and a father’s promises.

General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday And Wednesday Preempted

Just a reminder-this episode is scheduled to air Thursday, October 3 but that is tentative-major league baseball playoffs are preempting GH.

There is a possibility that this episode may be preempted on Thursday as well, pushing it over to Friday, October 4. Check back here for any updates, we will keep you advised.

The show wasn’t sure about Thursday being preempted, it depends on what happens on the Wednesday playoffs. If it doesn’t need another day of playoffs, then GH will return Thursday and Friday.

GH Spoilers: A Son’s Questions

Curtis found out that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is going on tour with Wynton Marsalis, a famous jazz trombonist.

Marshall, who’s been managing The Savoy for Curtis, hadn’t told him a thing about it and he heard secondhanded.

Now he tracks him down at the Savoy and asks him if he’s taking this tour job because of him!

This is a huge opportunity for Marshall, who’s been trying to make his dreams of a music career come true for many years.

One would think Curtis would congratulate him, not think his father is trying to leave him again!

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall Wants To Clear The Air

At the hospital, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are talking, and Sam wants to clear the air.

Dante asks if this means you two are turning a corner, obviously talking about a relationship Sam has had problems in.

He could be referring to either of her children’s fathers, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

She’s had something to be dissatisfied with concerning their father-child relationships with both of them.

Is peace finally coming over Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzin) or Drew and Scout Quartermaine’s (Cosette Abinante) relationships?

Ava is at her office in the Jerome Art Gallery as she’s pleasantly surprised-she rises from her desk with a big smile, saying “what’s up-I certainly like the sound of that! Trina

Robinson (Tabyana Ali) confides in Ava, and it sounds like she has a very positive update. Perhaps she’s finally starting to heal from her unending grief over Spencer Cassadine (most recently Nicholas Chavez)?

She was being encouraged to re-enroll in Port Charles University to complete her degree, and perhaps she’s now ready to do so.

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is frustrated as he stands by a snack machine at GH, being confronted by Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr)!

She vehemently disagreed with Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) decision to give Brad another chance, hiring him back at the lab.

It sounds like Portia is really tearing into him as he vents in frustration, “What do you care if I work here or not?”

Of course Portia’s real problem with Brad is that he might find out that she altered Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood test results and expose her!

GH Spoilers: A Father’s Promises

It looks like Lucky and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may still be at Bobbie’s as they continue their serious conversation.

Lucky promises Liz he won’t make him any promises that he can’t keep, referring to Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy).

Aiden has lost faith in his father over years, as Elizabeth also has, but Lucky seemed to have a repentant realization at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) hospital bed.

Wanting Lulu’s forgiveness for not being there when she needed him seems to be extending to Aiden and Elizabeth as well, along with the rest of his family.

General Hospital Spoilers: Heather Cries Out In Frustation

It looks like Heather may be within the walls of Pentonville Prison as she cries out in frustration to a man, he could be a guard; his face is not seen.

She’s likely been informed she’s not getting out of prison because her blood tests showed no change regarding the cobalt poisoning-thanks to Portia! Heather is frustrated and angry but she’s not just accepting the news.

She screams that she refuses to go down without a fight! She knows she’s changed at least in regards to trying to murder anymore people-her manipulative nature has always been there!
