General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, July 30 tease demanding answers, motherly counsel and angry vows!

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) demands answers from the WSB, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) receives motherly counsel and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) makes angry vows!

Demanding Answers

Anna has gone to the WSB’s Washington, DC office and she’s at the front desk, demanding answers. After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asked questions about Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) at GH, those records were wiped too.

Although TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) remembered an FBI agent visiting Brennan while he was there in the hospital, TJ couldn’t remember his name.

Anna is angry as she tells the front desk agent that she is not leaving until she gets some answers! Presumably while there, she’ll make a shocking discovery!

Checking Again For An Answer

Elsewhere, back at Port Charles, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is talking to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apparently checking again for an answer from her.

He asks her if she’s reconsidered-he’s already been “room-mating” with her for several months.

It seemed like they would reconcile their romance but things kind of fell apart-might he be asking about moving forward again?

They seem to have had an on again off again borderline romance ever since he moved back to Port Charles, will ‘Spixie’ ever get back on track?

Motherly Counsel

At the PCPD, which is joined to the Port Charles courthouse as well as the jail, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has shown up to give some motherly counsel.

It could be legal opinions as well since she now has her law license back and she’s talking to her daughter Molly. Molly is the assistant district attorney, after all, but she’s likely talking about family matters.

Alexis has some advice for her daughter-slash-colleague. She tells Molly “Lucky you, I’ve got another great idea”. Carly’s day in court is just about to start on the other side of the courtroom doors.

Nina Reeves Is Grateful To Willow Corinthos

Meanwhile, back at the Metro Court, another mother and daughter are engaged in conversation. Willow Corinthos (Katelyn McMullen) tells her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) “honestly, I wasn’t sure you’d be interested”. A

pparently Nina is quite interested in what Willow has to say, finding herself grateful to Willow. But then, Nina is grateful every time there’s a positive experience with her daughter! What might she be grateful for this time?

Angry Vows

Back at the courthouse, Carly mutters under her breath as Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is at her side.

Carly is angry at John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington). She makes an angry vow that if she’s going down, Cates is going down with her!

Outside, Cates was throwing his weight around and it is clear he’s not there for justice, he’s there for revenge. Anyone can tell it, and he needs to be formally disciplined and reigned in by his superiors!

Things Heat Up

Out in the hallway outside the courtroom doors, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tries to calm his father down, after Cates goaded Sonny as well as Molly!

Michael tells Sonny not to give him the satisfaction of putting him behind bars. But in spite of Michael’s trying to talk sense into his father, things will heat up between Sonny and Cates.

Sonny took a swipe at Cates but Michael held him back-might he do worse this next time?
