Crucial Updates

Jason arrives at the PCPD to update Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in her office-Cates has threatened him again over Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Jagger broke his end of the deal, threatening to send Jason to Quantico and then to a prison detail to infiltrate the gang because Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) went missing.

Jason asks Anna to give him the same consideration as she gave Valentin.

Anna’s got a real sticky situation on her hands, not knowing where Valentin and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) are but not wanting them captured.

Perhaps they should send Cates south, the same place where their plan has gone!

Family Matters

At Bobbie’s, Kristina and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) meet for a meal and to discuss family matters. She tells Michael she is just as much a liability on that end as he is.

No doubt they are talking about the situation involving their father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his bizarre behavior.

Kristina saw him blow up and beat up Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Michael’s noticed something’s wrong but Sonny’s in denial.

Neither of them seems to be able to get through to Sonny to go for a mental health checkup to see if perhaps his meds need adjusting but see the signs.

A Timely Warning

In the meantime, Carly meets with Sonny, although her timely warning probably isn’t anything that he doesn’t already know.

She warns him Cates wants to take him down-but Sonny thinks that already. Sonny has been paranoid about everyone and everything since Valentin put in the order for his meds to be at half-strength.

But now they are total placebos-and that’s Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) doing although she’ll never admit it.

She even lied to her lawyer, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) about her part in it although she will likely tell him she had them tested.

Desperate Dealmaking

In the meantime, Cates, desperate to take Sonny down, engages in some desperate dealmaking with Ava.

He seems calm as he pleads with her, telling her if she wants him to help her then she’ll have to help him.

Jason had previously warned Jagger that Ava couldn’t be trusted but he seems to be ignoring that advice. In the meantime, Ava told Scott that she and Cates had gotten “close”-how close?

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Sonny Continue Their Meeting

It sounds like Carly and Sonny are continuing their meeting, and Sonny has to be referring to Cates as he says it’s about time somebody beats that lesson into him!

Sonny hasn’t trusted Cates from the get-go although he was very close to his late younger brother Michael “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton).

That feud goes back over twenty-five years, with Jagger holding lots of resentment, even though it was him who left his late wife who once worked in Sonny’s club.

Jagger left for the West Coast with nary a care for Stone at the time, and now he’s blaming everything on Sonny, including Karen Wexler’s (Marie Wilson) death.

One small problem there-Jagger divorced her before she came back to Port Charles where she died!
