General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) toast to the New Year, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) works through parental disagreements, and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) starts a timely tell-all!

General Hospital Spoilers – New Years’ Toasts

Carly and Drew spent their New Year’s Eve in bed, and they toast to the New Year with champagne in bed. Carly’s excited and says this is going to be a good year; however, her happiness will soon be dampened when she receives life-altering news.

Soon, she’ll grapple with the notification of her mother, Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) death in Amsterdam, where she’d been trying to settle Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) estate.

But until she gets that call, she and Drew will continue celebrating, and assuming there’s smooth sailing ahead for 2024. They are happy, happy, happy and making plans.

GH Spoilers – Wise Warnings

Elsewhere, Olivia Quartermaine, (Lisa LoCicero) Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are at the docks watching fireworks when Olivia tells Ned he’d better get back there, now.

Olivia had just left Lois alone with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Savoy, where they’d had a New Years’ Eve celebration.

Lois claimed she was going to powder her nose, but Olivia knows what’s coming-she’s going to spill the beans to Sonny about Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) being the whistleblower.

She’s concerned about Ned continuing to be blamed, causing Carly and Drew undue distress and Drew a prison sentence, now completed. She’s also concerned about what Sonny has gotten himself into with his new bride!

General Hospital Spoilers – Surprise Plans?

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are at home talking about what sounds like surprise plans.

Brook Lynn tells Chase it’s better to ask for forgiveness than to ask their permission. It sounds like she thinks whoever they’re trying to surprise might not like the surprise.

The two of them will keep discussing how to go about what they’re trying to get together. Asking their permission would ruin the surprise!

GH Spoilers – Parental Disagreements

Meanwhile, Sam has some disagreements with Drew on how to co-parent their daughter, Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante).

Drew had without discussing it first with either Sam or Scout enrolled Scout in a prestigious private school.

Scout wants to stay in her public school, and it sounds like perhaps Sam has overridden Drew at the private school and withdrew her. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asks Sam how she thinks Drew will react?

General Hospital Spoilers – Help From Mom

As Michael is headed for the Savoy with Olivia and Ned, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is at Crimson Magazine wanting some help from Nina.

Nina looks pleased as Willow asks her, “maybe you could help me out?” Nina may never get those holiday bonuses paid to her employees that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) interrupted her during earlier, but her daughter comes first.

Perhaps Willow wants her mom to babysit Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Bo Harrison) so she and Michael can salvage some of New Year’s Eve. Willow had to work at the hospital so she wasn’t able to come to The Savoy earlier.

GH Spoilers – Timely Tell-Alls

At the Savoy, Lois is talking to Sonny, and says she knows who really wanted to out Drew and Carly to the SEC!

However, before she gets a chance to tell him, Olivia, Michael and Ned will arrive and she’ll defer to Michael to answer Sonny’s questions.

She will tell him that it wasn’t Ned, and that is one of her main goals for sticking her nose into the business, which Olivia tried to discourage. Sonny will confront Michael, with Olivia getting angry with Lois.
