General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, January 16 tease crime and punishment, providing options and deal or no deal?

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) thinks the punishment doesn’t fit the crime, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) provides options and does Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) asks deal or no deal?

General Hospital Spoilers – Crime And Punishment

After Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) gets off practically scot free with six months probation, Trina confronts her, not thinking the “punishment” fits the crime.

Trina tells Esme she deserves to be punished for her crime. Ava Jerome (Maura West) was also furious when Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) accepted such a plea.

Trina is angry and doesn’t believe Esme has changed one little bit after dropping the previous charges herself several months earlier. Perhaps Spencer did get a chance to tell her he suspected Esme has her memories back?

GH Spoilers – Providing Options

After the emotional making up scenes between Spencer and his father Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) they’ve come to a meeting of the minds-except for one thing.

Nikolas feels he has to go on the run to avoid prosecution again, but this time taking Spencer and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) with him.

It’s obvious Nikolas will argue that’s his only option, but Spencer says it’s not his-planning to go to Paris with Trina for a semester.

What will Spencer do-let Nikolas take Ace and him stay behind? He tried to talk him into turning himself in and hiring Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy)  but Nikolas didn’t think he’d stay free.

General Hospital Spoilers – Presence Requested

At the Nurses’ Station, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a call and asks someone if they could please come to GH.

Chances are, she’s calling Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) parents, he’s been brought in in dangerous condition.

Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) found him in Rice Park with a bottle of vodka and he passed out, having taken a huge quantity of pills from several blister packs.

Josslyn went to the hospital as well after Adam was taken by ambulance after she called 911. Now it’s a waiting game to see if Adam survives or not.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer Supports Her Daughter

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) comes to GH to support her daughter, telling Joss this is really serious. Mixing alcohol and drugs is always serious, but this mixture that Adam took may be potentially fatal.

Josslyn has been trying to save her schoolmate from himself and his apparently horrible parents, and now he may have intended to commit suicide.

It’s a very serious thing indeed when all she wanted to do was help but inadvertently made things worse.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Corinthos Will Do Anything

Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is also at GH, after trying to strike a deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) – she bribed him to drop his charges against Sonny for beating him.

It appears to have worked, and outside the room in a common area close to the Nurses’ Station she says she’ll do anything for the man she loves.

But little does she know Cyrus is in deadly danger as she’s speaking, although Sonny was trying to stop the hit!

But even if Cyrus survives, Nina’s marriage to Sonny may or may not. She just keeps digging herself deeper into a hole!

GH Spoilers – Deadly Dose

In Cyrus’ hospital room, Dex, dressed like an orderly injects his IV with something meant to give him a fatal heart attack.

Sonny called him to stop the hit, but Dex’s phone was turned off and he didn’t reach him. Will Cyrus live or die, or be in a coma, or will something happen or someone interrupt the process?

Dex didn’t even have a mask on when a nurse caught him outside the room dressed in scrubs-he could get himself in some major trouble!

General Hospital Spoilers – Deal Or No Deal?

Sonny is in what suspiciously looks like a hospital room as he asks what someone wants in return, that’s what he’s asking!

Perhaps he’s gotten there in time to intervene and it’s Cyrus he’s dealmaking with. GH is short staffed and most are occupied with Adam’s overdose so maybe Dex and Sonny are lucky and Dex has an antidote for whatever he injected in Cyrus’ IV.

Sonny continues to ask deal or no deal, as he tries to bargain. Will there be a deal, or won’t there?

GH Spoilers – Emergency Intervention

Meanwhile, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is in Adam’s hospital room trying to shake him back to the land of the living.

Adam is fading fast, Finn keeps shaking him and looks like he may be trying to give heart massage as he keeps calling Adam’s name.

The young man may not make it, because when Josslyn found him he’d already taken several blister packs of pills and drank most of a bottle of vodka. The last resort will be the crash cart and defibrillation.
