General Hospital (GH) spoilers and  updates for Tuesday, August 6 tease an innocent child’s questions, a presumed guilty woman’s arrest, and a devastated father’s struggle for sanity.

Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) has questions about Daddy, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is arrested, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) struggles for sanity!

An Innocent Child’s Questions

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) looks heartbroken as she hears Donna’s innocent question-she wants to know why Daddy didn’t come for a plate today.

They are sitting at a table and Donna is coloring-it’s possible they may be at the Metro Court, or perhaps Bobbie’s. Carly knows something but she can’t explain to Donna-her tender ears are too innocent for what she’d have to say.

Her big sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) crashed and coded in the hospital. Carly may know this as the family prays for a  miracle.

Brick Checks In

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is on the phone with someone, as it looks like someone else behind him is picking something up from the floor.

Did Brick’s man find an electronic bug or something and he’s calling who he suspects placed it? Whoever he’s talking to, the person on the other end won’t likely like what he says. He tells them they are no longer in the circle of trust.

Brick had been tasked by Sonny to have photos taken of Ava’s suite to spy on her and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Something To Celebrate

In the meantime, Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) are elsewhere having something to celebrate.

Laura tells a winking Kevin, “Sometimes it pays to be in politics”. She had requested to reopen Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) cases and have them reviewed because of the cobalt poisoning she’s been influenced by from a faulty hip replacement.

Laura wasn’t trying to get Heather sprung entirely or the cases dropped, but perhaps she would be more appropriately cared for in a place other than Pentonville.

Perhaps Laura is giving her former aunt-in-law a little too much credit-she hadn’t had that hip replacement forever!

A Presumed Guilty Woman’s Arrest

At the PCPD booking room, Ava is tense as Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) with Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tells her they have proof she isn’t quite truthful in her statement.  

Ava maintained she hadn’t done anything with the drapes or looked out the window when Kristina plunged through it to the pool below. But Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) told Anna that Ava was looking out the window, backing up from it and closed the drapes.

Ava knows she should be presumed innocent until proven guilty, but it sounds more like she’s presumed guilty and has to be proven innocent!

Jason Morgan Questions Dante Falconeri

Elsewhere, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) questions Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) worrying about Sonny.

Jason asks Dante if he’s worried Sonny will go after Ava. If that’s the case she’s probably safer in jail than she would be free!

Dante was there when Sonny found out that Kristina lost her baby, but he was already elsewhere when she crashed and coded.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was in her room when it happened and Sonny doesn’t even know about that yet. They’re worried about Sonny who isn’t with the rest of the family praying for Kristina’s survival.

GH Spoilers: A Devastated Father’s Struggle For Sanity

Sonny, eaten up inside by all the harsh words from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos) who wouldn’t let him in Kristina’s room, is on the roof ready to jump!

He’s devastated and barely hanging on-Sonny’s never been suicidal before, but he appears to be now and struggling for sanity.

He gets a ghostly visit in his time of need, similarly to his late father Mike Corbin (Max Gail) waking him up near Nixon Falls when he was near death. Sonny tells the ghostly visitor, who can’t be seen yet to get outta here-he’s just his imagination.

This time Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) saves him from jumping!
