GH Spoilers Tuesday, April 16: Maxie’s Fears, Trina’s Grief, Dex’s Commitment

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, April 16, 2024, tease someone’s fearful, someone’s grieving, and someone’s committed.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) talks about her fears, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) drowning in grief, and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) shows his commitment.

Maxie’s Fears

Maxie has a heart to heart talk with her mother, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and asks if she lets him in again, how does she know nothing bad will happen?

Maxie must be talking about Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and their slow and cautious verge of a romantic relationship.

Every time before, there had been danger that Spinelli had found himself in when he was working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

She’s worried about things going any further than co-parenting because of the dangerous things that have happened in the past, and also because of their daughter.

Both of her two other baby daddies are dead, although Peter August (Wes Ramsey) who killed Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was no great loss!

Brick Charms Jordan Ashford

Elsewhere, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) charms a smiling Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) as he asks if she can come out and fly?

Brick must be a man of many talents, he seems to be referring to a ride in a private plane or helicopter.

Jordan looks like she’s falling for him, and he looks like he’s falling for her-it’s an odd match, Sonny’s investigator and the Deputy Mayor with a law enforcement past!

The look of love is definitely on both of their faces, Jordan looks like she’s positively melting!

Elizabeth Baldwin Opens Up To Gregory Chase

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) apparently looks worried or sad as she opens up to Gregory Chase, (Gregory Harrison) who asks if there’s a problem.

Elizabeth has been having some issues with her son Jake Webber (Hudson West) who’s bitter at his birth father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who “rose from the dead” twice now.

This time it’s different though and Jake doesn’t understand it-Jason wasn’t held in a compound or unable to communicate, but he can’t tell him the reason.

Then, there is Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who Elizabeth is dating; he’s Greg’s son; Liz may be trying to get Greg to open up about his health.

Finn is worrying about his father’s health, given his diagnosis of ALS but Greg doesn’t want him to worry so he can’t get any information!

Mutual Realizations

It looks like Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may be in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office as she says that’s not her call to make, but she knows whose it is.

They may be discussing the possibility of Laura’s brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) pressing charges against Sonny for beating him up in the chapel.

Laura and Anna are likely both realizing that Sonny is far more dangerous than he has seemed, and past friendships had been a filter for how they each have viewed him.

Anna has already admitted that to herself and to FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington).

Cyrus, now an elderly man, was beaten within an inch of his life just because Sonny was upset about something else!

General Hospital Spoilers: Trina’s Grief

Trina and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are outside, and they look like they’ve taken a rest break from a run. Trina is still drowning in grief over Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) presumed death.

She’s likely talking about her happiness and her heart healing when she tells Josslyn she doesn’t think it’s ever coming back no matter what she does.

There’s no doubt for Trina that Spencer was her soulmate, and she can’t help but feel like parts of her died with him.

No body has ever been found and although there’s a grave, he’s not in it. Trina is a sad girl and very depressed.

Dex’s Commitment

As for Dex, he prepares to start police academy as a first step towards his new career, and he may also be with Joss and Trina.

Trina will ask him and Joss about their relationship as well as mourn Spencer. They are probably talking about his new job as a cop-that Josslyn didn’t exactly feel comfortable with-and he’s excited to get started. Dex smiles and says he’s in, whatever it takes!

Sullen Sonny Has Questions

A sullen looking Sonny appears to be in his office as he asks someone what they have for him.

Sonny’s mad at everyone except Ava Jerome (Maura West) and just wants everyone to leave him alone and get out of his life-even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

If he breaks all ties with Carly he’ll never see his adorable daughter Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) again and she won’t see him.

There’s no reasoning with him in this state, he’s very paranoid and very angry. And Ava’s very suspicious it may have something to do with his pills that didn’t do a thing for her!
