That being said, she’s not gone so soft since Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) death that she has forgotten how important it is for the image of the Quartermaine family to go on untarnished.
Everyone might be thinking Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovannia Mazza) will soon get under her skin, but the newest Q mansion houseguest is about to be the least of Tracy’s concerns.
Besides, it turns out she’s going to really like that kid. The same can’t be said for two of her family members who have always been in her good graces — Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Kaitlyn MacMullen).
Tracy was already somewhat bothered by Drew’s run for Congress. She supports him, but she doesn’t ever relish the opportunity for the Quartermaine’s to be in the limelight.
She knows it’s only a matter of time before someone does something that embarrasses the whole family. She just didn’t think that person was going to be the candidate himself.
Drew has always been so solid, and they all know his stint in prison was on behalf of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and not because he actually has the heart of a criminal. Just the opposite. Drew is the resident golden boy hero.
Or at least, he was. As he kicks off his campaign for Congress, Tracy’s head will be left spinning when she learns of a rumor under wraps.
We’ve been wondering why Tracy has been spending so much time riding lately, leading her to get pretty chummy with stable boy Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Cody has clearly developed a platonic but concerning affection for Tracy, having seen the more playful and softer side of her more than most do these days.
Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) recently confided in Cody about the steamy kiss she saw go down between Willow and Drew on July 4th. Will it be Cody’s loose lips that blurt it out to Tracy during their next hangout sesh?
Tracy is notorious for knowing how to confront a problem. She’s direct and to the point, but she won’t skip past the opportunity to give a good lecture. We can’t possibly see Drew sitting down and taking that as she pedals one out though.
However, Willow is far more timid. While the GH writers have gone a long way in trying to toughen Willow up a bit over the last year, she’s still a softy at her core and we know she’s already crumbling from the guilt of cheating on her husband.
How will Tracy compound that problem as she frets over their interlude and worries an ongoing affair within the family will become fodder for the press as Drew’s campaign ramps up? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
