General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, September 5 tease unsolved mysteries, dogged pursuits and worried moms.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) deals with an unsolved mystery, Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) on a dogged pursuit, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is worried.

General Hospital Spoilers: Unsolved Mystery

At GH, Elizabeth talks to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about their mystery patient, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Elizabeth notices something and tells TJ she thinks that’s the key to finding out who he is.

Presumably, Isaiah, who was run into on Route 41 by “Agent” Linda Boyles (Amor Owens) with Ava Jerome (Maura West) in the car is still unconscious.

What might Elizabeth have noticed about Isaiah-does he have a tattoo she recognizes, perhaps? Or is there something else she sees that seems to give her a clue?

GH Spoilers: Dogged Pursuits

In the meantime, Jordan is talking to Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) and tells him she’s going to pursue every avenue of this investigation that she can think of.

She is probably referring to the murder of Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) although she too, is trying to find out who Isaiah is. She’s got Brick (Stephen A. Smith) working on that.

Jordan is the deputy mayor, no longer the police commissioner but as Brick noticed, she misses being an investigator.

She’ll put her skills to work to find out who killed Cates as well-although she likely agrees with most everyone he was asking for it!

General Hospital Spoilers: Worried Moms

Alexis is nervous, as she’s a worried lawyer and mom-when Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) didn’t call her back as she was at Robin’s Bridge, Alexis threw a gun in the water.

It was one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) guns that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) took from his safe, therefore violating her bail. However, she knows it could be even worse now that she knows Cates is dead.

However, Kristina explained that to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) who knows what really went down-and is covering for Sonny.

But Diane’s good news that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) misadventure is the Davis family’s good fortune doesn’t calm Alexis down.

GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Reacts In Sarcasm

Meanwhile, Ava is back at the art gallery as she is in disbelief at the actions of a visitor that’s come there.

She’s rather miffed as she asks if this is their idea of a joke! Someone’s come there to confront Ava over something-might it be connected to her unintended trip to the Pine Barrens the other night? She thought that was all handled after talking to Diane with Jason there!

General Hospital Spoilers: No-No-And No!

In the meanwhile, back at Sonny’s penthouse he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are still working on the “alibi” that he still hasn’t admitted what it was for.

Carly’s in the dark and only he and Michael know that he was the one who shot Cates, although he and half of Port Charles including Carly are in the suspect pool.

Carly agreed to help Sonny but she makes it plain that her help will only go so far-she doesn’t act like she’s in the remarrying Sonny mood!

She’s upset as she tells him she’s not going to take this-meaning the alibi-any further than she absolutely has to.

That means she’s not marrying him again to keep from testifying against him, besides, it’s not even come to that yet!

GH Spoilers: What Is Kristina Plotting?

It’s hard to tell whether Kristina is merely making an observation or plotting something as she muses out loud, “one down, one to go”.

Obviously she’s found out that Cates was murdered since that’s what she and Michael talked about.

Kristina wanted two problems eliminated, Cates was one and Ava the other. It doesn’t look like she’s in the gallery confronting Ava-so what does she really have in mind?
