General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 10 tease evasive maneuvers, guilt trips and regrets.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) feels like someone’s using evasive maneuvers, Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) on a guilt trip and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has regrets!
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, Kristina came into confess and she’s getting the impression Anna’s using evasive maneuvers.
She asks why she gets the feeling that Anna’s trying to get her not to talk? This comes after Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) came earlier, trying to get her to go after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to which she replied she didn’t have enough evidence.
Anna likely sees that Kristina is most likely trying to protect her mother by confessing to a crime that she didn’t commit either.
Molly had put forth that Sonny had had means, motive and opportunity to kill John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) but Anna sent her away from her office.
At Pentonville, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) talks to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and tells her he thinks he may just have the key to her salvation.
Martin is playing both ends against the middle, being duplicitous with Sonny, who’s paying his bill. It was Martin who hired Elaine the private investigator (Judy Kain) to tail Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
If Sonny and Carly’s romantic reconciliation can be disproven, there goes Sonny’s alibi for the night of the murder.
Elaine showed up at Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) Metro Court Suite tailing Carly and had snapped some photos of them together earlier.
Elsewhere, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is venting what sounds like her romantic frustration about Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) being back in town; she vents that she doesn’t know what else to do!
Even though Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) tried to reassure her that he wasn’t going to waffle between her and Holly, all the times he did previously is getting to her anyway!
Now, she has some other things of more a professional nature that might be frustrating her as well and she may be talking about those.
For instance, back to the situation with Sonny’s alibi disappearing before their eyes, she could be frustrated about that.
Without the gun Kristina took from Sonny’s safe and being found, which wouldn’t match the ballistics of the bullets from Cates’ body, they can’t rule it out as the murder weapon.

Back at Anna’s office, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) checks in , saying “they knew exactly what they were doing”!
Chase investigated the Cates murder, which happened on the deck of the Quartermaine boathouse, and no stone was unturned in his questioning.
It sounds like Chase is suspecting that the famous Corinthos cover-up maneuvers are being used, and the cover-up was planned as well as the murder.
Chase is interested in law and order and justice, and not ruling out Sonny just because he’s well loved by his in-laws! It’s a tough place for a cop to be in when he suspects his in-laws are cooperating with outlaws!
Possibly back at GH, Lucky continues to talk to his mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) just having gotten back to town.
She saw him crying and praying in the hospital chapel, guilty because his liver was too compromised to donate to his sister Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).

Lucky and Laura have an emotional reunion, and he’s probably the one who has to tell her that like Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) his liver’s not viable for donation either.
He tells his mother whatever happens to Lulu, it’s on him. She will likely tell him not to blame himself-no one can go back in time and change things.
In the meantime, Carly fusses at Sonny, likely revealing she found out she was tailed-and Sonny might know more about being tailed than she does!
It seems like Sonny tells her there’s been more surveillance on the two of them than he realized, perhaps he was documented with Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) as well.
Carly is all worked up-and in a near panic as she cries to him, “That means I’m going to go down right along with you!” Will the two of them wind up in a marriage of convenience again to avoid testifying against each other?

At the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Jason is angry as he expresses his regrets that he didn’t kill Cates when he had the chance!
Jason was trying to protect his family and especially Carly, since Cates was holding her freedom over his head.
Jason, along with anyone else that had contact with the rogue agent knew he was dirty and his vendetta against Sonny was more important than justice.
Jason looks angered, but he’s probably angry at himself. He could have prevented so much chaos, pain and turmoil if only he’d taken him out!
