GH Spoilers Thursday, May 16: Greg’s Struggle, Finn’s Worry, Tracy’s Offer

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 16 tease struggles, worries and offers.

Coming Up On General Hospital

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) struggles at the altar, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) worries, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) offers to finish for Greg.

Greg’s Struggles

All eyes are on Gregory as he struggles to try and officiate Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.

It’s plain he’s having some major problems as he stammers, his eyes fill with fear and he’s struggling to hang onto the altar.

His ALS symptoms aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease have been increasing rapidly and he’s known he hasn’t had much time left, although he won’t tell how advanced it is.

He desperately wants to make it through the wedding vows to be able to pronounce Chase and Brook Lynn husband and wife.

Maybe he needs some oxygen, like before-at least there are two doctors and two nurses in the house with eyes on him!

Finn’s Worry

As fear starts to fill Finn and Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) eyes, among others, Finn asks if Gregory is ok-he notices his hands trembling.

He’s continuing to try to hang onto the altar but something untoward is definitely happening. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) who bravely saved Grandpa when he needed oxygen at home is getting scared.

It’s plain Gregory is trying to act like there’s nothing wrong when there desperately is!

Tracy’s Offer

One of the faces with worry in her eyes is Tracy, and she rushes up to Gregory and offers to finish the ceremony like she promised him.

They had previously discussed her being his backup just in case something bad happened, and now it looks like it is. He had felt weak when he, his sons, Violet and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) arrived at the church and went in right away.

Brook Lynn and Chase may well object to finishing their ceremony instead of getting Gregory to medical help-or medical help to him right away.

But he’ll want “the show to go on” and his youngest son and his fiancée be properly married, whether he does it or Tracy finishes up.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ Job

Apparently, Brook Lynn and Chase do manage to get married because friends and family are shown gathering at the Metro Court for the reception.

Among them are Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) who Blaze that it’s her, Kristina’s, job to convince her mother that what is best for Blaze is Kristina! Kristina and Blaze were shocked to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) Kristina’s father arrive at the wedding with Blaze’s mother Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva La Rue) on his arm! They both would have rather Natalia not showed up, anticipating her meddling.

A Quick Exit?

Sonny and Natalia, at the reception, talk and Sonny asks her “you aren’t leaving are you”? Sonny doesn’t know why Natalia would want to make such a quick exit especially when she hasn’t yet meddled with Kristina and Blaze-or has she?

Sonny has tried to help Natalia accept that Blaze isn’t going to marry a handsome young man, likely of Natalia’s choosing if she could get away with it.

Perhaps the wedding became too tense for Natalia and so she’s indeed making a quick exit. But that might mean Sonny making a quick exit as well, and he won’t want to!

Not Such Brotherly Love

A display of not such brotherly love makes itself evident as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) talks to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

It sounds like Jason wants to know what’s happened with Drew since the tunnel collapsed under Cassadine Island, or something related to Drew’s welfare.

Drew tells him “the fact that you’re asking that question pretty much answers itself!” Drew is likely angry and resentful that Jason didn’t contact him, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) or anyone that he’d gotten out okay!

Drew acts like he’s going to give Jason a quarter to call someone who cares!
