Wake-Up Calls

Finn should take it as a wake-up call when Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) tells him she doesn’t want to leave him there alone.

Already little Violet seems to want to fix her father and is quite possibly afraid to go to school, fearing what might happen if she’s gone.

It’s bad enough she was in a situation not a month ago saving her grandpa’s life, if only for a short time before he passed in his sleep.

Will Finn realize Violet’s seen he’s spiraling downwards and afraid to leave him alone? Out of the mouths of babes at times come the profoundest perceptions!

Disappointing Reactions

Elsewhere, Spinelli can’t help but be disappointed in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) reaction as he tells her he found their prize!

Spinelli is pleased and happy while Sam looks upset and worried-as a matter of fact, she’ll be livid! It sounds like Spinelli found that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) been blackmailed over keeping Carly out of prison.

And, after HOW many years has Sam and Carly’s truce come to an end-Carly interfered with Jason even when he and Sam were married!

Wise Warning

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) are catching up after his many months in South America on a mission helping a friend.

Curiously, they appear to be discussing a child or young teenager he hasn’t seen for months.

One would think they might be discussing a mutual relative as she warns him it’s not the sweet young kid he remembers.

Perhaps she’s bringing him up to speed on Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez)? Such a statement would certainly describe what happened a few months back when Anna accidentally shot her!

Old Friends Catch Up But It Sounds Like Hospital Business

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) catch up at work, but it sounds like hospital business and talking about Finn.

Terry looks disgusted and Elizabeth looks upset as Terry tells her not to call it a break, but to call it a meeting!

Elizabeth had previously told Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) Terry’s co-chief of staff about Finn’s drinking problems, and it’s a serious situation.  

Terry and Liz’s conversation doesn’t seem as personal as it does about forcing Finn to get help-and he could get fired.

Nina Reeves Confides In Maxie Jones

In the meantime, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are near the Metro Court pool when Nina apparently confides something shocking.

Maxie reacts strongly, taken aback, as she gets up from her lounge chair and asks, “I’m sorry-he’s WHAT?” Is Nina talking about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) again, and their in-denial affair?

Maxie’s about tired of Nina’s TMI about Drew, it’s getting embarrassing. Both deny any kind of feelings or relationship going on, and yet they keep up their secret shenanigans!

Worrisome Warnings

At the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Carly delivers a worrisome warning to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), telling him “because what he’s doing affects you!” Given Carly and Sam had just had a rather intense disagreement over Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), that might be what and who she’s talking about.

Sam wanted Carly to intercede with Jason about staying away from Danny, which Carly strongly disagreed with.

On the other hand, she found out some other things after snooping around on Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and finding some things out about John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).

What Jagger’s been doing certainly would affect Jason but certain things Danny might do would affect him as well!
