General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 11 tease surprising requests, family negotiations and shocking conspirators!

Heather Webber (Alley Mills) has a surprising request, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) does family negotiations, and is Ava Jerome (Maura West) conspiring with John Cates (Adam Harrington)?

Surprising Requests

At Pentonville, Heather surprises Laura Collins (Genie Francis) with her request-Laura’s totally taken aback as she tells her she doesn’t want it to be put to the test.

Is Heather saying she doesn’t want her case reopened because of the new information of cobalt poisoning?

Laura is certainly not looking for total exoneration for Heather, as her criminal history goes back years, even though as the Hook she became a murderer.

Heather has been a schemer and had attempted murder before when she dosed Diana Taylor’s (Brooke Bundy) iced tea with LSD but inadvertently drank it herself.

And no one can say her stabbing Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) with a syringeful of LSD wasn’t a murder attempt, either.

Family Negotiations

Elsewhere, Maxie is attempting family negotiations with Mac Scorpio, (John J. York) who is furious with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) for lying about his paternity test.

Maxie tries to reason with Mac in an attempt to bring the family together-she asks why Mac is taking such a hard line with Cody?

She and her mother Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) all agreed that Mac’s reaction was uncharacteristically harsh.

Cody had kept this secret for well over a year, the whole time Mac was on a mission in Argentina.

Felicia Pays Cody A Visit

Maxie and Felicia are tag teaming Cody and Mac, trying to make peace in the family-but that stubborn gene they discussed both father and son sharing’s hard at work! Felicia asks Cody in disbelief, “you don’t want any part of the Scorpio-Jones family?”

Cody looks as stubborn as one of the bulls he used to rope when he was a cowboy, and about as easy to budge as a hog stuck in the mud!

Maxie and Felicia have their work cut out for them trying to bring peace between these two stubborn Scorpios.

But history reminds them it can be done-Mac and his older brother Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) didn’t use to be on the best of terms, either!

Shocking Conspirators?

In the meanwhile, John “Jagger” Cates just walked right on into Ava’s penthouse after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) exited!

Cates had been eavesdropping and likely heard everything that was said, including Ava bringing up Sonny having ran a strip club.

It was as if Ava wanted to remind Jagger of Sonny’s role in Karen Wexler, (Cari Shayne) Cates’ ex wife becoming a drug addict and forcing her to strip.

Now the two of them seem to be shocking conspirators against Sonny as she tells Jagger she thinks she knows how to discourage Sonny from returning.

General Hospital Spoilers: Support Requests

In the meantime, Sonny went to see Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the mother of his daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

He’s likely talking about his younger daughter with Ava, Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) however. He tells Alexis that all he needs to know is if she will support him.

Her support is needed to testify what a good father he is so he can get sole custody of Avery. Will Alexis be willing to help?
