GH Spoilers Thursday, January 4: Plans, Plots And Pushback

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 4 tease plans, plots and pushback!

Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) got big New Year’s plans, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) plots, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t take any pushback.

General Hospital Spoilers – Worrying Questions

It looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has some worrying questions regarding the experimental procedure that could make him walk again.

He asks what if it doesn’t work-well, if it doesn’t work he’s no better but he’s no worse either. He’ll never know until he tries, however so he needs to go through with the plans.

One can’t blame Curtis for being doubtful after getting almost used to being in a wheelchair. Soon, he should find out if the procedure will work or not.

In the meantime, Portia is at the hospital and says she’s got big plans for 2024. Those plans are bound to include Curtis, no matter what physical state he’s in.

While he’s worried, she’s very positive and happy and she’ll no doubt expound on her big plans. 2023 was a long, difficult year for Curtis and Portia and family-hopefully 2024 will be better as Portia expects.

Elsewhere, Nikolas is still in the storage room in the back of the Jerome Art Gallery talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West).

He wanted Ava to join him in giving Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) what’s due her-Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) already got his! Ava seems flirtatious with Nikolas even though she gave him no hope of a reconciliation or remarriage.

She asks him what he’s planning to do to Esme? As if holding her hostage in the North Tower of Wyndemere practically her whole pregnancy wasn’t enough?

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins’ Realization

In the meantime, Nikolas’ mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has realized something about Esme-she’s gotten her memory back.

She advises a pensive Esme that she’s going to have to turn herself in. That will be the only way to atone for her crimes.

That’s probably not something Esme wanted to hear, and she was advised by her birth mother Heather Webber (Alley Mills) not to let anyone know she remembers. Did Esme tell Laura, or did Laura figure it out by herself?

General Hospital Spoilers – Breakup Or Make Up?

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are still arguing outside after the big revelation at The Savoy.

Willow found out her birth mother Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC.

Willow was upset at Nina but even more at Michael after finding out he knew for months and didn’t tell her.

It looks like both Willow and Michael and Sonny and Nina are at the breaking points in their marriages. Willow is still upset as she asks Michael what kind of a marriage is that?

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer Lashes Out

In the meantime, Nina left the Savoy and is doing what Sonny told her to do, apologize and get forgiveness from Carly and Drew.

It’s not great timing considering Carly just found out her mother died-and Nina was the last face she expected at her door in the middle of the night.

Nina will face Carly’s wrath as she lashes out, and possibly Drew’s too! It’s just not a good night for many in Port Charles!

General Hospital Spoilers – Pushback

In the meanwhile, Sonny’s at the church where he went to pray and encounters someone, and he’s not taking pushback.

It looks like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is still playing priest as an angry Sonny shouts tonight’s not the night to be pushing him!

If Cyrus pushes him too far he might find himself in a spot in the graveyard or taking a trip to the Pine Barrens, with Sonny’s foul mood.

So what’s Cyrus being pushy about-pushing Sonny to forgive Nina and Michael? Or is it something else entirely?
