GH Spoilers Thursday, January 18: Feeling Distance, Frustrated Moms, Figuring Things Out

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 18 tease someone’s feeling distance, a mom is frustrated, and someone is figuring things out.

Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) feels distance, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is frustrated and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may have figured something out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Feeling Distance

It’s obvious that Blaze is feeling some distance from Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) as she drops in on her unexpectedly.

She asks why it feels that she started to lean away-the two had been very close to becoming a couple, although keeping it private because of Blaze’s homophobic family.

More than likely, if Kristina has been pulling back it’s because Blaze wasn’t supportive of Kristina’s surrogacy and egg donor decision.

Kristina was all in but Blaze had asked a lot of questions about if she was sure. Blaze, like others, may have taken concern that Kristina couldn’t part with the baby when it came time.

GH Spoilers – TJ Ashford Updates His Mom

Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is updating his mom, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about the latest in the surrogacy saga.

It looks like they’re having a nice dinner in a fancy restaurant as he asks Jordan if she’s comfortable with Kristina being their surrogate.

Jordan does have a very serious look on her face, like possibly she does have some serious concerns. For sure, if she does, she will express them and give her reasons.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Has Questions

At GH in his hospital room, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has questions of a visitor, asking what makes them think they can trust him?

That seems to be an odd question coming from Cyrus, unless the person is someone who doesn’t know him that well.

This could very well be Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) reaching out to Cyrus because she knows he’s Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) uncle, thinking he may know where he went.

She also knows he’s got a network of henchmen, or at least he did, that could look for Nikolas and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).

If Cyrus has loyalties, it’s going to be to Nikolas and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) not Esme!

GH Spoilers – Frustrated Mom

Esme is frustrated because the one she’s come to needing help can’t do much of anything. If this is Cyrus, she’s in disbelief, asking is that all he can do?

She was going to go to the police but Spencer blackmailed her with accusing her of getting her memories back and sending her to prison for what she did before.

And if it is the police, she has nothing but what Spencer told her he did-she has no proof to give them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mother-Son Talk

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are still at the Quartermaine mansion as they talk out what’s transpired in the last few days.

Carly tells him keeping things buried can have unintended consequences-like losing his wife Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

Michael must prepare himself for that eventuality, as she’s not been open to talking things out with him.

For right now, he and both the children have been staying in the main house while Willow’s been staying in the Quartermaine gatehouse where they had previously made their home.

This could be a permanent split with them trying to work out how to tell their children, especially Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) who’s old enough to know what’s going on.

GH Spoilers – Figuring Things Out

In the meantime, Drew is talking to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about something he’s figured out.

This doesn’t sound like anything to do with his business deal or his current relationships. He tells Anna he might be onto something-possibly related to changes in him?

These changes are obvious to others but not to him, but why talk to Anna-perhaps he thinks it’s coming from his previous programming.
