General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Thursday, December 26 tease disappointment, defensiveness, and trusting the wrong person!
Next On General Hospital
Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) is disappointed, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is defensive, and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) told she trusts the wrong person!
General Hospital Spoilers: Programming Note
Viewers who tuned in Tuesday found themselves seeing an encore episode from May 22, 2024. Wednesday, December 25 will be entirely pre-empted by sports; NBA Basketball will run from noon eastern standard time through the rest of primetime.
That’s very good news for NBA Basketball fans, not so much for General Hospital fans, you may not even spot Stephen A. Smith in his other job, who plays Brick on GH.
General Hospital will return with a brand new episode, however on Thursday, December 26. Read on to see what to expect in this exciting new episode.
GH Spoilers: Disappointment
At the Quartermaine estate, Brook Lynn feels a sense of disappointment as she seeks answers from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Expressing her frustration over her past struggles to conceive with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’s taken aback by her husband’s words. She questions him, wondering if he really wants to give up on their attempts to start a family.
Brook Lynn and Chase have been on this journey of trying to get pregnant since long before Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) went to live with her father—it’s been quite some time!
Brook Lynn is only in her thirties, she’s not in perimenopause-yet they’ve tried and tried to get pregnant, why is nothing happening?
General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas Vents To His Aunt Ava
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is feeling overwhelmed and is directing his frustration inward as he confides in his aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West), expressing that he has only made matters worse.
Has he come back from the medical symposium he was supposed to attend with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), or is he still on his way there?
Ava gazes at Lucas with understanding, remembering that his father was her late brother, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) and sometimes, simply having someone to share your burdens with can lighten the load.
Family is important and there isn’t much left of the Jeromes-there’s Ava, Lucas, and Ava’s daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Lucas has been doubly burdened with lost loved ones this past year or so, having lost Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) as well as his adoptive mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman).
GH Spoilers: Josslyn’s Disagreement
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) appears to be at odds with someone, delivering a dry remark: “You really believe that.” While it might seem like she’s addressing Lucas if he were present, it’s clear she’s engaging with someone who shares a similar mindset.
She remains at her mother’s house, surrounded by family, including Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and her mother Carly, who are all gathered to celebrate Christmas, and her little sisters.
For the Corinthos and Spencer families, the holiday carries a sense of melancholy, yet for others, it remains a time of joy.
General Hospital Spoilers: Defensiveness
At Nina Reeves’ home, tensions are running high as Willow unleashes her fury, insisting that someone has no right to pass judgment on her.
Nina stands by her side, supporting her as Willow confronts her adversary. The expression on Willow’s face suggests that the person she’s defending herself against is quite audacious!
Nina, too, appears less than pleased—who could have the audacity to confront her daughter in her own home? It seems like a battle is brewing, and things are on the verge of erupting!
GH Spoilers: Michael Confides His Discouragement Over Willow
Michael is feeling down about Willow and confides in someone that perhaps he should just let her go. He turns to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for support, hoping for some solid advice.
There are times when acknowledging defeat is the wisest choice, especially when it feels like you’re struggling against insurmountable odds.
While he may have triumphed in a corporate clash with his uncle Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), on a personal level, things appear to be quite challenging.

General Hospital Spoilers: Trusting The Wrong Person!
Carly, Michael’s mother, is clearly present too, accompanying Jason—who continues to harbor distrust towards Jack Brennan (played by Charles Mesure), and understandably so!
As soon as Jason entered the Spencer residence alongside Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and laid eyes on Brennan, he mirrored Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) sentiments.
Instead of exchanging holiday greetings, he found it challenging to accept Brennan as Carly’s Christmas visitor.
Now, Jason and Carly are conversing quietly away from the others, and Jason reiterates his lack of trust in Brennan. Jason will continue to be suspicious and keep warning Carly she’s being used.

GH Spoilers: Proving Jason’s Point?
Jason and Sonny have every reason to be wary of Brennan; his demeanor is unsettling as he speaks on the phone, indicating that he’s aware of something significant.
With Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in town, could Brennan be discussing something with Sidwell or perhaps the text Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) sent to her brother and her call to their mother?
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is about to receive some troubling news-despite Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) insisting on keeping things confidential, could this call be related to her?
Is Brennan potentially alerting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to a threat? It raises the concerning question: has Lulu put herself in jeopardy?

General Hospital Spoilers: Much Needed Encouragement
Sonny and Kristina are engaged in a conversation, likely discussing her new role in managing Charlie’s Pub, a responsibility he recently entrusted to her. She expresses her hopes of being capable in this position.
Taking on this job is beneficial for Kristina at this moment, providing her with a productive outlet, especially since she has experience as a bartender at Charlie’s.
It seems she has moved on from her earlier plans to establish a youth center, which she had been passionate about before the recent challenges she faced.
However, this opportunity at the pub is both positive and familiar, suggesting that stepping into this role might be the right path for her.
