GH Spoilers Thursday, April 18: Finn’s Dilemma, Cyrus Goes On The Record, Lois’ Wedding Invitation

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, April 18, 2024, tease dilemmas, going on the record, and a wedding invitation.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has a dilemma, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) goes on the record, and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) issues a wedding invitation.

Finn’s Dilemma

At General Hospital, Finn has a dilemma, as he tells Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) his brother Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) bachelor party’s going sideways and he doesn’t know what to do!

Dante is set to be Chase’s groomsman while Finn is going to be his best man, and time’s a wastin’ to get it all together!

Dante and Finn will brainstorm to solve the case of the gone sideways bachelor party.

They’ve been trying to rush up the wedding date because of Finn and Chase’s dad, Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) declining health.

Hopefully Dante and Finn can find a solution for the bachelor party problem, and quickly!

Ava Jerome Hides Something From Sonny Corinthos

In the meantime, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is at the Haven Bistro making a call on her phone.

Previously, after finding out the pills she took of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) to help her sleep didn’t work, she called the GH pharmacy to find out some information.

Then she took a couple from his desk drawer-now she’s on the phone and it could be about the pills, perhaps she’s had them analyzed.

She thanks someone and says they’ve been very helpful. It’s hard to tell if Ava is trying to help Sonny or trying to hurt him, considering her history with switching Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) bipolar meds with placebos!

Cyrus Goes On The Record

Something Laura Collins (Genie Francis) told Cyrus must have resonated as she was trying to get him to press charges against Sonny for beating him up in the church.

Now he’s at the Port Charles Police Department where he wants to go on the record to Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Anna greets him, asking what brings him there, and he’ll tell her he’s changed his mind about Sonny and what he suffered at his hands.

Anna should provide police protection and find some kind of safe house-not one of Sonny’s, obviously. If Sonny finds out Cyrus crossed him, he’ll send someone to finish him off!

Dex Heller Takes Another Step Towards His New Career

Elsewhere, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) takes another step towards his new career-in a bullet proof vest, coming down a flight of stairs.

It looks like Anna may have convinced Police Academy Director Calvin Bennett (Kendrick Cross) to let Dex start police school after all.

Bennett had been concerned about Dex’s motivations. Dex tells someone he’s ready anytime they are!

Need To Keep An Eye On That Guy

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) appear to be at Bobbie’s, as he tells his sister they should keep an eye on that guy.

They could be talking about Dex, given Josslyn’s concern about him joining the PCPD and being a target for Sonny. Or, they could be talking about John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) who they may have spotted at Bobbie’s.

Michael certainly doesn’t trust him and neither does Josslyn, and especially not around their mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)! He’s also in Bobbie’s at the time.

John And Carly Get Closer

Likely with Joss and Michael keeping a close eye on him, Jagger’s talking to Carly at Bobbie’s. He says it’s time he finally gave Carly something in return, as Carly smiles.

To say those two hit it off on the wrong foot would be the understatement of the century, but she did chase off those two thugs and nursed him all night. Perhaps he’s there to give Carly an apology?

Lois’ Wedding Invitation

Meanwhile, at the Metro Court in the restaurant, Lois sits with her old friend Sonny trying to convince him to come to Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding. She tells a reluctant looking Sonny it wouldn’t be complete without him.

Sonny is still convinced someone is out to get him, and he’s not real trustful of anyone-someone is, but not the ones he thinks.

Will Sonny be able to say no to one of his oldest friends, or will he scurry off to his hidey hole with Ava and reject Lois too?
