GH Spoilers: The Soap Opera Just Blew Up Any Chances Of A CarSon Reunion

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is reeling right now. He’s got a mystery person targeting him, which has him on edge.

After all, the individual seems to know the mob boss’s organization and security, which means someone on the inside has betrayed him.

Even more disheartening is the fact that he’s learned most of the people he thought he could trust, he can’t.

In recent months, there have been hints that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny could (possibly) have a romantic reunion; however, now that the secret about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is out, there is little chance that will happen anytime soon.

General Hospital Spoilers – There Was Hope For CarSon Fans

GH spoilers were teasing a CarSon reunion, especially with Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) SEC secret blowing up, and the mob boss kicking her to the curb. Moreso, Carly’s relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has been teetering.

His change in behavior since he got out of prison has been troubling, and something tells fans that their working relationship will go south, fast. Still, another piece to their shaky romance is Drew’s need for revenge, and Carly’s need to just “move on”.

Still, with Sonny learning about Michael’s secret to throw him under the bus, and Carly covering it all up, the mob boss will likely banish them from his life, for the time being.

GH Spoilers – The Jason Morgan Factor

With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) set to return in a few weeks, it makes it no surprise that writers may place the CarSon reunion on the back burner.

After all, Sonny was the reason Carly and Jason never consummated their marriage; when Sonny returned from Nixon Falls, Jason backed off. Sadly, months later Mr. Morgan was presumed dead.

Now that CarSon is a thing of the past, Stone Cold may not be tempted to back off from a romance with Carly when he comes back.
