GH Spoilers: The “New” Jarly – Are John Cates & Carly Spencer Headed For A Romance?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that recent scenes between John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) seem rather interesting.

The two were friendly at first, but once Carly figured out that John was not only an FBI agent, but a nemesis of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), things became a little dicey between them.

Still, as most soap fans know, the best relationships in daytime drama start with a little conflict, so could these two be headed for a romance?

General Hospital Spoilers – Darly Is Cracking

GH spoilers hint that Carly is in a relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison); however, the romance is crumbling.

Mix in the fact that Drew and Carly made a cuter couple on paper than on the canvas, and it doesn’t look like the two will last much longer. Not to mention Mr. Cain’s recent (and drastic) change in personality is causing drama.

Their biggest issue right now is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). While Carly wants to drop the idea of any more revenge schemes, Drew is bursting at the seams for more.

She recently quit her job at Crimson because of this, and it’s only a matter of time before Darly ends up going their separate ways.

GH Spoilers – A Darly Break-Up Opens The Door For A Jarly Romance

There’s definitely chemistry between John and Carly. Mix in the fact that John has a rivalry of sorts with Sonny, who also happens to be someone Carly’s fiercely loyalty and the father of her youngest daughter (whom she has to co-parent with), and this be a recipe for a great romantic storyline.

Unfortunately, Darly didn’t have the sparks and the “it” factor to sustain the long haul in Port Charles.

However, a new relationship might be exactly what the blonde needs to start a fresh chapter in her life.

With recently losing her mom, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and running Bobbie’s diner, Carly’s ready to enjoy life to its fullest. Will John Cates be the person who helps ignite some passion in her life?

Will John and Carly be the “new” Jarly? Could they end up in a romance?
