GH Spoilers: Summer Preview – Babies, Romance, Wrap-Ups, & An Explosive Return

General Hospital (GH) fans know that when the summer months hit Port Charles, the drama heats up!

During last Friday’s Daytime Emmys, Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, along with the GH cast, spoke to ABC 7 News and offered some hints about what fans should expect in the weeks ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Whooaa, Baby!

GH spoilers hint that Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s due date is sometime in August, so fans know to expect a summer baby’s arrival. Still, actress Kate Mansi told ABC 7, that there is no “happily ever after,” once she gives birth.

She does note that what the writers have “crafted is very special”. She adds, she’s quite, “excited for the fallout”, what Kristina will gain internally, and how her character will grow.

GH Spoilers – Flirting Around The Pool

GH spoilers suggest that the arrival of Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has created a stir, and fans are buzzing around the idea of a possible romance between him and Josslyn Jacks or Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Eden McCoy told ABC 7 that “they bring someone and it’s like (a) trial-and-error run with every single person in the age group to try and figure out who’s gonna be with who.”

It looks like nothing is set in stone yet in terms of Gio’s romantic interest, but there will likely be a ton of flirting between him and these two besties.

General Hospital Spoilers – That’s A Wrap!

On a good note, fans should expect the FBI storyline to wrap up, which Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) is excited about. It sounds like Burton wants what many fans want, which is for Jason and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to mend fences.

Burton tells ABC 7 that he’s tired of the coffee business and would love to see Jason working for Sonny again, but will the mob boss be open to this?

Where will Anna Devane end up once Pikeman goes down? Finola Hughes states that Devane doesn’t always “walk a straight line”.

While she does follow the law, she will often bend the rules if it suits her. Does this mean she may protect Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) when the chips fall? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

GH Spoilers – An Explosive Return

There’s also that tidbit that Valentini dropped during the ABC 7 interview, saying, “A former cast member is coming back, and I think that the audience will go crazy for HIM.”

GH viewers have been speculating on who that “him” could be; from Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) or possibly Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
