GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Reveals His Feelings About Jason’s Out Of Character Moment

General Hospital spoilers tease that Steve Burton has been playing Jason Morgan on and off for decades. So he has a pretty good handle on what his character would not, as well as things he usually wouldn’t.

One recent scene surprised viewers, and Burton himself was surprised at something Jason did.

It should be noted that the whole conversation was light-hearted and Burton wasn’t complaining at all.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jake Webber Called Jason Morgan To help Elizabeth Webber

When Jake Webber (Hudson West) discovered Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) drinking at a local bar with an unknown woman, he felt he had no choice but to tell his mother, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

Finn and Elizabeth have been a couple for awhile now, so Jake knew that his mother needed to know what he saw. After he told her, Elizabeth decided to confront Finn herself. Worried, Jake called Jason to be mother’s back up.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Came To Elizabeth Webber’s Aid

During the tail end of an intense confrontation between Finn and Elizabeth, Finn reached out to grab Elizabeth.

Jason showed up at exactly that moment and warned Finn to keep his hands of Elizabeth. And as Jason escorted Liz out of the apartment, he left Finn with a final warning to stay away from Elizabeth.

But Elizabeth wasn’t ready to go home, so Jason took her to the Metro Court pool, which was closed for the night. And that’s when it happened.

During the next scene, both Jason and Elizabeth were sitting by the pool with the feet in the water! This just didn’t seem like something Jason would ever do, and Elizabeth even commented on it.

During a recent podcast with Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), Burton says he asked if it was necessary and was told it was.

So he agreed to the scene but joked it would never happen again! But as uncomfortable as it was for both Burton and Jason, the scene reinforced the bond that Jason and Elizabeth have always had.

Jason seems more vulnerable whenever he’s with Elizabeth. When they first saw each other again earlier this year, Elizabeth was the only one who commented that Jason was different now. Could romance be in store for these two, even if Burton never sticks his feet in the pool again.
