GH Spoilers: Spinelli Unearths The Truth About Cody — Leads To The Truth About His Feelings For Maxie

General Hospital (GH) spoilers spill Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) couldn’t wake to rake Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) over the coals for buying sweet James West (Gary James Fuller) a pair of boots.

Every inch that Cody moves in Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) direction alarms Spinelli, but he’s not quite ready to say it out loud and admit why that is.

Sure, he has plenty of concerns about Cody. They have a less-than-savory history combating one another.

But Cody hit the nail on the head when he accused Spinelli of harboring feelings for Maxie. Still, Spinelli might be head over heels for his baby mama ex, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely off the mark about Cody either.

Will Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and the gang be able to sway Spinelli in their direction, or will his crusade against Cody continue because he just can’t shake the feeling that the guy is lying?

Any fool can see that Spinelli is head over heels in love with Maxie. He’s been pining for her for more than a year now with no end in sight, and the fans are getting rather tired of the push and pull with him.

Maxie is still completely oblivious to his feelings for her, which is the general schtick when feelings are one-sided.

Something tells us the months ahead — with Spin crashing at her place — are going to breed something more than just co-parenting and further friendship on Maxie’s end of the spectrum, too.

GH Spoilers – Gush Cody Bell Can’t Catch A Break

Spinelli was fairly calm by the time Cody left Maxie’s place the last time he stopped by unannounced.

His willingness to come over with an unexpected and expensive gift for James didn’t go unnoticed by anyone, but no one noticed more than Spinelli did.

Rumor has it that song and dance is nowhere near over. Every time Cody comes around, Spinelli’s spidey senses will go up.

Is he just picking up on Cody’s sneaky secret that he is Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son, or is it all drummed up paranoia in Spin’s head because he wants Maxie all to himself and sees a guy like Cody as a threat?

When Felicia made a friendly compliment in Cody’s direction, Spinelli couldn’t help but remind her that she too had concerns about Cody. Felicia was quick to address the matter, noting she had a hunch about him but she was wrong.

As far as Felicia knows, she proved her theory about Cody’s paternity wrong — as she remains unaware of Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattson) meddling to ensure that the test produced the result Cody needed. Who better to figure that out than Spinelli, the tech wizard?

When the truth comes out, will he go straight to Felicia and let her know her original hunch was right all along?
