GH Spoilers: Spencer’s Paternity Twist, Esme’s Daddy Lie Exposed?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has been helping care for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) for months as his little brother.

However, shortly before Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) slept with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), she thought she was pregnant by Spencer.

Now that Nikolas has returned, Spencer allows him to leave town with Ace to protect him from Esme. Has Spencer just allowed his father to go on the run with his son?

Esme was just weeks from delivering her son when she returned to Port Charles. While all kinds of tests were run on her to check her memory, no one insisted on a paternity test on Ace.

Everyone, including Spencer, just went along with Ace being Nikolas’ son. Could Esme have lied? What if Ace’s father really is Spencer?

Spencer wanted custody of Ace from day one, even from his father whom he tried to blackmail. However, Nikolas disappeared and was presumed dead.

However, there has to be some reason that Spencer was so drawn to this baby. Normally Spencer would not be that concerned about custody of his brother. Could Spencer sense the truth?

Spencer believed he was doing what was best for Ace. After all, Nikolas was a good father to him when Spencer was smaller.

Spencer knows that Nikolas will take care of Ace but chances are that Nikolas would not have Ace if Spencer knew the truth. Has Esme’s lie completely cut Spencer off from Ace now that Nikolas is gone with him?

Esme has custody of Ace and with her memory back she’s not about to let this go. Esme wants her son and is determined to have him.

Even if the truth comes out, Spencer would still be accountable for allowing Nikolas to leave with the baby. Will Spencer manage to get his son back with the truth comes out?

Let’s be honest, a missing, or even a dead man, cannot fight for custody. With Nikolas missing, it was a lot easier to fight with a brother instead of the father of her child.

Spencer is also in a relationship with Triha Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Spencer’s home would have been deemed a better home than Esme’s. Esme would have been hurting herself to admit this.

Should Spencer insist on a paternity test to prove who Ace’s father is if Esme changes her story? Will Nikolas return Ace if he learns the truth? Will Spencer finally get custody of Ace after all this time?
