GH Spoilers: Sonny Must Choose Between Carly And Alexis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) has gotten himself into quite the mess.

His cold-blooded murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) has set into motion a series of events that may lead him to make a choice between two very different women, Even though both Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) both had Sonny’s child, that’s about where their similarities end.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Agreed To Be Sonny Corinthos’ Alibi

Even though they are no longer married, Carly still cares very much about Sonny. That’s why she agreed to provide him with an alibi for Cates’ murder. She even claimed that they were making love at the time the crime occurred.

Although the cops didn’t necessarily believe him, it did give them reason to look at other suspects. But for the alibi to mean anything, Sonny’s lawyer Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) insisted that they act like they have reconciled. Neither Carly nor Sonny is particularly happy about that.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Was Arrested For John Cates’ Murder

Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) stole one of Sonny’s guns from his penthouse and went to the Quartermaine mansion with the intent to kill Cates, but she didn’t.

However, when she returned home her mother Alexis found the gun and threw it into the river.

Unfortunately, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) witnessed Alexis disposing of the weapon. As circumstantial evidence began to pile up, the cops had enough to arrent Alexis.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Won’t Let Alexis Davis Be Convicted!

Sonny has already hired Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) to defend Alexis and he’s counting on Martin getting Alexis’ case thrown out of court. But if Alexis actually goes to trial, Sonny has vowed to confess to the crime himself.

If he does that, then Carly will be implicated as well since she willingly lied and gave Sonny an alibi. Carly could easily go to prison if Sonny takes the necessary steps to free Alexis. So, it may come down to a choice between Alexis and Carly.
